Can confirm what @Darkfyre was saying in March, for some reason Reflow Spartan Ops mod breaks the campaign for XL. Weird! No biggie, just needed to remove the .map files and re-verify in Steam and we're in business. Cheers!

@Aquafina™ - Trying this on LASO is INSANE! Glad you found a challenge!

Started to try this mod on LASO... this is the new hardest LASO challenge I have tried. I have beaten most games on LASO and did reach with random enemies which was insane. My coop just solo'd Dawn and it took him close to 5 hours and that is probably the easiest it will get. This guy isn't bad either, he has beaten every LASO probably 3 times with some games more. Super cool challenge and mod overall!

I would recommend updating your drivers, and play on borderless. Oldest hardware tested is using a GTX 1070 but it ran fine at 4k.

@shadowed To be fair the crash happened when I came back to the game after alt-tab out of the game for a while. When I got to the "Halo window" it just said fatal error, which happened before with a different mod after coming back to it via alt-tab.
The game always runs perfectly on highest settings for a non-4k screen.
It was my first time trying out the mod so I just wanted to see what it was like so... I'm fairly certain I played on "normal".

@Thomas - Sounds like something is wrong on your end.

You shouldn’t crash ever and those issues have not occurred for me in single player and coop testing.

What are your specs?
What difficulty are you on?

Though I like the mod... Ai often just waits not moving, only shoot in the first level. In the second level at the map room all the dead covenant started jumping and flopping around, funny but eventually made my game crash.

@Darkfyre - Glad you figured it out! What a strange issue.

Figured it out. I had Reflow for Spartan Ops only manually installed, somehow it was affecting your mod in campaign mode. No idea why, all other campaign maps/mods work just fine with Reflow for Spartan Ops installed. I am trying to be clear with my language, just want to state emphatically that I did NOT have anything other than vanilla campaign map files.

I will give this a try.

@Darkfyre - I would verify your game files, unsubscribe from the mod, and resubscribe. The mod loads for me without issue from the workshop and is set to the latest version.

The NexusMods version is also the same version as this which didn't need updating. Manual install works by replacing the vanilla maps with this mod.

You can do the same with the workshop build by copying the maps (do not copy campaign.map and shared.map) from:

Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\976730\3136818178\Maps\

to:

Steam\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\halo4\maps\

(backup your og maps first)

Not working as of 3/12/25. The game goes back to main menu after loading into a game. Yes, EAC is disabled. Yes, I saw the mod in the campaign list. Yes, I set my armor/weapon skins to default. Tried it with mp customizations both on and off, neither worked. Tried every H4 map, none worked.

@NOVA2733 - Thanks for playing! That is funny. We saw the AR and Storm Rifle have excellent damage per round on Campaign even on Legendary; especially compared to Halo 3 and Reach.

I can see if I can buff the Needler for the player. I do like how dangerous the Needler is though :)

This mod is awesome however it exposes how bad H4's sandbox is (AR is useless, storm rifle equally useless). That said, I bought this game when it was new and you managed some genuine "ohhhh fuck" moments!

If I might make a request, either buff the needler for the player or nerf it for the AI. They shoot from the back of arenas meanwhile you pick one up to be greeted with 10 feet of range.

@Samacqueen5 - Interesting. We have not tested the campaign with the Bandanna skull and that behavior where you can't sprint is something we never experienced!

On the level Reclaimer, the Mini-MAC targeter charges up but doesn't actually lock on. It could be an issue with Bandanna, but I also noticed I can't sprint with it or use jetpack, it switches to a different weapon whenever I do, which doesn't happen in the OG campaign.

@Test Tube Thanks for reporting. I haven't been able to modify Binary Rifle ammo yet. I will fix the rocket launcher ammo, I edited wrong value for that one!

Idk if this is intentional but rockets and binary rifles don't get the 4x ammo capacity for me, at least in Reclaimer and Infinity respectively.
