This map mod doesn't seem to work anymore with the latest version of Shogun, or more generally with patch 1.17 onward.

Hi, the map is lovely. But unfortunately it currently breaks the map table introduced with the Legends of the Dead update. I wish there was an option in game to just disable it all together. Since it doesn't add to my immersion, but actually lessens it. Especially with a total conversion mod such as Shogunate. I hope the mod developers add a unique table for Shogunate.

Awesome mod! You really did a great job, you should consider creating an addon for the Joseon Unofficial Expansion, if you have the time.

@Czaritsa That is the new style of PDX maps apparently, in Vic3 the entirety of America is rolling hills temperate paradise lmao. I'm sure we'll get map updates in 2028 for $25 per sub continent, for both games.

Oh my gawd. Please make the normal map look like this. I'm so sick of the ugly-ass excuses for textures the main game employs. "You''ll lose this battle, opponent defends river crossing." WHAT RIVER!? I can't even SEE one. Let alone, PLAN DEFENSE! I can't tell what the hell is a hill, mountain, plains...oh pls god somebody make the map look RECOGNIZABLE as terrain! Like this!

I got a similar experience that every time i zoom out the map to paper map it stuck and I think the change in brightness is not smooth enough. Great Mod Though.

Tweaked lighting settings a little and disabled in-game bloom, should be better but I can't account for everyone's individual screen contrast settings. Settings are tweakable through the environment.txt in the mod.

extremely bright but good mod. Vanilla Map shigunate is not beautiful

selecting provinces are a bit too bright for me but other than that i like it

I think this looks great, really adds to the feeling that I'm playing in a different part of the world.

Everything is working fine. Much better than the original. Returned to the shogunate again. It's worth it.

Works, but it's not very good. But now I understand why are maps in CK so desaturated. Too much color makes the readibility suffer, unfortunately.
