Any mod that adds dungeons (such as the Aegis crypt or Aegis sand dungeons added by no mercy) conflicts with Synergies, and cannot be played online. As soon as the second person joins, the first gets booted. It's a problem with synergies that faces many merge packs and dungeon add-on mods in multiplayer.

Well I found that with this mod on the hardeset difficulty I was getting hit for about a third of my life from (and needing 5 to 8 hits to kill) most elite mobs at my level. Then I twinked my toon and made the game way too easy. Balance is really hard to find while playing with mods.... I liked the exp pot drops... maybe a little too rare... 1 in the first act, 3 in the first part of the second. Buying pots of item find and combining it with fish of item find gave me 200% most of the time, which is a bit cheap and I usually like cheaper... but this loses it's specialness. (like my use of ...) I really liked the gold pots, which balance slightly with the higher costs. And I really liked the amount of specials: elites and champions and mini bosses. The 4 restat pots are maybe 2 too many. Those are my thoughts. Thanks for the intresting mod.

My and a friend of mine tried to play this online with a few other mods (Synergies, Far East pack, apocalypse, torchlight essentials, darkthanes classes) and when we tried to join eachothers games, torchlight would crash. We took NO MERCY off and tried again and we were able to play.

We really enjoy the NO MERCY mod and would like to play it in MULTI. Is there any way to get it working with the MODS i have listed?

Is there a way to uninstall this mod and go back to it just being just synegies mod? I keep crashing when changing gears. I only have No mercy, highloot and the synergies mod (in that order)

It instantly crashes when i try to play with a friend, we are both only using No mercy and synergies (in that order)

I have tried so many possible mod combinations that I'm really curious of what the gameplay looks like with your configuration. I may give it a try and send feedback

Enjoying the mod but storm claw doesn't work, I only have no mercy and synergies installed, I can see battle rage working but storm claw never procs.

Just hit the green "Subscribe" button and the mod will automatically download the next time you launch TL2. Another mod called "Synergies" is required for my mod to work, so you must subscribe to that one as well. Please read my mod description for more details :)

Any chance of lowering low level boss health? I'm around level 11 and orange name mobs take forever to kill, even though I can 1~2 shot the whites. :(

I love this collection-mod, it gives me so much power, destruction effectiveness & lovely reward, that I can't stop.
Can't wait to reach maximum power & fight the synergies challanges.

I'm really enjoying this modpack so far; also, would you consider adding and modifying the brothers-in-arms (human pets) mod? I feel like it has alot of potential, and stat-wise you can equip them with armor like a secondary player. I think you could really bring out its full potential and balance it with your mod.

New update!
Changed some of the Berserker's skills from active to passive, but also reduced thier effectiveness. The skills I changed are Battle Roar and Stormclaw. No more having to refresh every 2 mins :D
Also gave several skills for each class a small cooldown. No more spamable skills, use them wisely!
Fixed a bug were One Eyed Willy's Other Eye was dropping a lot.
Chests, Hero Monsters, and Bosses now have higher drops and are more diverse.
Increased Monster VS Player damage. Elite and Boss Monsters hit pretty hard - watch out!

sounds great. I shall definatley give this baby a go. Ima huge stickler for if the game isn't challenging enough i will put it down:/ love me a challenge! i will surely be back to tell ya if this fits a hardcore person's needs.

My goal for balance was to make every class have survivablity on par with the Berserker, as that class is the strongest. As far as using abilities "wisely", yes and no. No because most abilities have a short cooldown anyways, but also yes because I have tweaked many abilities to provide survivability when you're in a pinch.
Make sure that if you decide to use my mod that you're also using the Synergies mod, as mine is made to enhance it. Also, I recommend playing on Elite difficulty - anything lower than that WILL be stupidly easy.
Although I'm the creator and subject to bias, I'd say this mod is the closest to what you're seeking. I'm currently a level 25 Berserker with a sick legendary 2h sword and other legendary pieces and I've still died a few times because I've made mistakes. It sucks, but I love it!

Hey i love torchlight but my biggest problem was:
-class abilities felt like they didnt get balanced
-game was super stupid easy

I have never found a good combo of mods to fix the balnce issues AND to actually make me use abilities wisely.
Is this the mods i want???????

There is no other mods in my game, so load order should be quite small:D

Unfortunately I don't have access to my computer right now, however, I have had no issues with my game having those errors or showing invisible items.
Your load order could be changed as well, maybe that will fix things. It should look like this:

My mod No Mercy can either be above or below TL2 essentials.
That being said, I have no idea if TL2 Essentials and my mod No Mecry play nice together. I have the feeling that running them both isn't a good idea. They're both Mod Packs, and have a lot of content in them. It is generally not a good idea to run 2 different mod packs together.

That's very strange. I have a hard time believing that my mod is the cause...
What other mods are you using?
And what does your load order look like?

Ttied playing it, but in char selection cant see any new heroes and animals.
After naming invisible chars I chose single player and the game told me than in order to play with those heroes I've got to activate teh mod (which is already activated), it also offered me restart the game and automaticaly enable teh modes.
I restarted the game again and still had the same problem.

Your load order looks good. However, since you're using Synergies Mod then there is no need to use the SKILLUNLOCK plugin. That plugin is meant to be used for people who don't use Synergies at all, but want to have a high skill unlock rate. Essentially, that plugin only mimics the skill unlock rate of Synergies.

Lucky me, it was a green spear.
About the load order, the GUI comes first because if I put it after NM!, NM will overwrite in the load order & the skin would only partially load.
I have checked out Salan's Official collection, so now my load order is the following:

► Nethermancer Class
► SynergiesSKILLUNLOCK

I am now proceeding on cleaning the old save files following your guide. The Berserker was created with NoMercy, thats why I got curious on this problem.
I was successufull with one of them, the other one returned a "Aw Hell. Parse error in Bill of Blood" error. I'll see if it's an item & destroy it.
My actual load order is:

I have changed Endless Dungeon so that it is only accessible through the Clockworks, not from towns anymore. I hope this fixes the online issue. Also, I have decided that attempting to re-apply Mountains of Consumables to it's default settings would horribly off-balance potions drops, and therefor I will not be changing it.

I'm not sure why you didn't get at least a blue item. I have had no issues with item drops on my end. If you could please tell me what other mods you're using and the load order, maybe I can help.

As you can see, after spending quite a huge amount of time to kill him ( more than 5 minutes just for him ), the exp & fame gain were quite low, plus the loot was so poor that it resulted as a loss ( since I used lot's of health & mana potions, and all he dropped were 46G + 1 health potion ).
I can agree on leaving theese beasts as they are, though I'ld like to know which author to ask to improve a little bit the loot, so that other then hard they would be rewarding and make me happy to stick my 2H in their ....

P.S.: I think I could say my engineer is quite a good build, since it annihiliates everything with no big problem. Only problem is when fighthing Elite Champions, the reward should be adequate.

This MOD was great yesterday, but today it crashes all my lan games when me or my friend try to join :/

Wow thanks for fixing that up. Also, mountains of consumables isn't working, either.
