but you can use the trick of Novicius in the TODO mod.

the game automatically disables the mod cuz its out of date, is there a way around it?

This mod is already included in Beginner Mod!
And yes, you really must want to built lots of stone walls, and stonebuildings otherwise you may think there are too many stones.
