Perhaps you should disable all addons except this map, that usually helps.
I tested this map on a potato and it should not reach 1FPS. But regardless of that, I have finished an optimized version of the map. I just can't upload the update because of school at the moment, but I will eventually.

I have spent way too long just sitting in the brush-made car listening to heavily-bitcrushed pop music from before I was born. It was rather therapeutic, actually. Have no idea why.

Wonderful map to just walk around and find all the little things one can interact with. I loved it.

(Also I got distracted from just exploring the map and started committing drive-by shootings versus Combine soldiers all with low-quality ABBA playing and it was fun.)

Yeah this is most likely a problem on your end. I packed all the necessary textures into the map so no one should have any issues. Perhaps you have conflicting content or addons, try disabling things.

What is the exact problem that you're having? The command should fix bad cubemaps, but it does not fix missing textures.

Nostalgic for something I've never seen

All that matters to me is to experience the joy of someone using my map and filming it. And don't worry about language, Ukrainian is close enough to Slovenian to understand at least maybe ~25% of what someone is saying.
As for uploading the video, it is up to you. I am just joyful about the fact that someone used my map to film something.

Well, we are still making it, but idk if we will upload it anywhere. It is based on a local meme, and we are filming it in Ukrainian, so you probably wouldn't even understand a word.

While making the map, I stumbled upon a meme of a camera zooming in on a window of a person blasting caramelldansen in their room with strobe lights. I got an idea at that very moment. My map would not be complete without such an event! The event is triggered at random. It has a 25% chance of triggering at the start and after 233 seconds the chances increase by 25% until it eventually plays. After it plays the event has an even slimmer chance of happening. One in a sixteenth chance every 233 seconds (if I remember correctly). A weeb room seemed appropriate so I would make the music blast from there. I wasn't into anime at all when I made v1 so I just looked up random trendy anime posters and whatever my weeb friends liked and plastered that all over the room. One year later when I made this I did get back into it a little bit and had my own tastes so I re-arranged the posters and the computer.

That's pretty much the whole story of the Caramelldansen event and the room it plays from.

Excellent map. Not every night map has to be scary. Just pretend that it's 6 AM and you're going out for breakfast, and nobody else is awake yet. Everything close by is closed. That's the vibe I get from the map. You can pretend whatever scenario you want. It's gmod.

The map retains the nodes from v1, these nodes are in the middle of the map. In the apartment block and the courtyard. I completely forgot to add nodes to the rest of the map while making v2. My mistake.
