Hi folks, some news here for those who read

Our next update, v1.4 "Buran", will be showcased as a preview live on stream by the end of september. Long story short : Polishing, bugfixing, various improvements, a new soviet faction and a handful of new vehicles

Keep it up fantastic people, the mod looks awesome and runs so smooth! Maps could be a bit bigger, but apart from that, the gameplay and the expansion in this mod is absolutely worth 10/10 to try it out for those interested or are new to mods for Squad 44.

And yes, i was sceptical at first too. But once you try this mod on a server that runs smooth, it is a whole new experience.

Fantastic mod lads HOWEVER I will say that endless 2m high fences everywhere in towns that can only be passed by climbing does not make for the best map design for fighting!

@WilliamSYXF maps appear to be set in late 1941 as per the description. ppsh was only produced in serious numbers starting in december 1941.

Usually russian propaganda spread throughout the years, what they dont tell you that most were so poorly built throughout to the end of the war that even a panzer 3 main cannon could destroy the frontal armor of the t34, which is why they lost so many "not including the meat wave assaults they employed just as they do in ukraine". And if they out classed german tanks, that should had not been the case. I tend to hear it was actually the kv2 that gave german tanks a problem in the first 1-2 years of the war.

In fact, that's exactly how it was. The T-34 had infancy problems and the Red Army structures were in disarray, but the T-34 and KW-1 outclassed all German tanks of the period. The Germans had the superiority in numbers and experience having waged a victorious war for 2 years. Therefore, the Soviets needed about six months to stop the German offensive and guarantee victory in the war.

And as for the balance in the game, this should be solved by less availability of KW-1 and T-34. 1-2 units at the most.

it's almost like the t-34 was vastly superior to anything it faced when it was first introduced, causing germany to scramble to design and produce panthers and tigers, as well as upgunned p.iv's

You have to make the KV-1s six a clock machinegun usable. Prererably by the commander. Just make it like the Shermans hullgunner, no optic, just the periscope to look through and you have to follow the tracers.

R in russian is written like Р, letter Я is pronounced "ia\ya" and mostly used to say "I am"
Д is not russian A, A in russian is A (wow!), Д is russian D

This is so misused and widespread so just became insulting.

It turns out great!..Somewhere bad there are animations like when reloading a PD machine gun. Some mechanics are missing, bayonets don’t fit on mosin rifle but they are cool, but overall it looks and turns out very well...And for now, you can’t sit on tanks, although I’ve tried it often and had many moments..Thank you for this mod..

Nice mod. Creator team have "egg's" to make that. Mod have problems with tank's but its normal on start. They must add some stuff to Axis (is very very non historical and weak in this mod in this moment) but rest is good

Priviet guys!

The SDK is getting updated in the next few hours and the team is already gearing up to cook Chapter Red v1.1. 💪
Unfortunately, this new SDK will come with some issues that will most certainly prevent us from pushing the tank riding feature for our beloved soviet machinery.

Given the amount of new additions and the fact that we want to ensure this update is stable for both clients and servers, we’ll be hosting two playtests before releasing Chapter Red 1.1 : a closed playtest with developers and QA, followed by a public one.
