Does this mean that we can start building the ships, or do we still need to do the research? It sounds like we need to do the research.

@jmfs1701 the AI absolutely should have them too. Or at least my playtesting showed so. There's nothing in my code that restricts it anyway.

Does the A.I also have all the ships unlocked or is it just the player?

The Sovereign class is longer than the Galaxy class, though it is indeed leaner. It is also the largest Federation ship in Alpha canon until the Odyssey class.

is any one going to make a replacement for the Sovereign as a Titan and make it a heavy cruiser, to cannon it was the smaller leaner version of the Galexy, i'm not dogging the Sovereign it is my favorite ship in the Federation fleet, the Excalibur was more a Titan
