I know this is a lot to ask for but your mod is the only thing that comes close to accomplishing it, but i was curious if you could make it so that a gas barrel can be pumped directly into a generator so that i don't have to constantly fill them. would be highly useful, obviously i get your probably working on b42 but if you found time and found the idea interesting it would be fantastic to see something like that. Regardless the piping for water is a must have, thank you!

doesn't work in a middle of the game, hosting a local coop server. crap

Wish there was a way to put the pipes underground so they're not an eyesore

Does not work in a middle of a game. I hosted a co-op server and add this mod after. doesn't work

Does anyone here having problems connecting the pipe from 2nd floor going up to 3rd? It seems like the flow of waters stops to 2nd and won't continue up to the 3rd going to 4th flr. I am using 1 pump only for this one.
p4triot 12 Sep @ 5:48am
I've set up a pump, connected to a rain collector barrel, and pipes connected to the wall of my house. I expected all the sinks and toilets in the house to work, but only the toilets next to the wall where the pipe is connected are working, anything further than that doesn't work. Also, for some reason, water in the water collector is not decreasing. So I have an infinite amount of water essentially.

Any tips? what did I do wrong?

I'm a little lost. I've got three pumps at a lake, all then forked into one pipeline towards a house. I'm worried that since the pipe comes from north and connecting to house external wall from south, it's not connecting to the building, none of the sinks/bathtubs seem to be collecting water.

I'm also concerned because I have a second pipeline for my farm and it happens to connect to the house (not intentionally) and I'm wondering if that is overriding the connection to the house I actually want.

Hello how to get charcoal? Burning Wood in metaldrum? Or only by looting? Did find any yet.
Grimace Shake 21 Aug @ 6:28pm
does it work with saves or i need to create a new one?
loonE 3 Aug @ 4:21pm
do the pipes connect through flooring? i'm trying to connect my roof barrel, to an indoors barrel which is one floor above my kitchen sink
Tri 31 Jul @ 3:17pm
Does the mod "machines II" interfere with this one by chance? I build all the things as described, connect a generator, but right-clicking the pump does not give me a "turn on" optin.
Mimlicious 18 Jul @ 5:05am
I have the pipe connected to a house but the sinks are only filling up to 40/140
Robo_Robinson8912 13 Jul @ 7:42pm
Nevermind, it just takes SUPER long to fill, might also be because of how long the pipeline I made is
Robo_Robinson8912 13 Jul @ 12:06am
Hey its 3AM so idk if I'm reading this right but- I built a pipe network and connected it to a house but I'm not getting any water in any of the sinks, its powered and on along with having a filter, am I missing something or am I not doing it right?
Arthritic Meow 7 Jul @ 9:54pm
Has to have an open top of course.
Arthritic Meow 7 Jul @ 9:53pm
Metal barrels, right click context menu should say make charcoal if I recall correctly.
☠SATANICAT ☠ nekopara 7 Jul @ 5:05am
how to create a carbon filter?
Arthritic Meow 26 Jun @ 1:42pm
@gwennec It might not work on tents, if so just plumb a pipe under the sink and that should fix your issue. it does have to be connected to the whole pipe network as well but It is a good work around if the building connect does not work.
Gwennec 26 Jun @ 12:19am
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong here. I've connected my pipe system to the mess tent in the Louisville army camp and I can see there is water flowing in the valves but the sink isn't filling up/usable.

Does it work with the tents or does it need to be a wooden/brick building?

much appreciated Slayer and take your time b42 is incredible unstable anyways can't imagine trying to fit mods to it is the easiest.

Awesome! Glad to hear it c:

someone let me know if this every gets updated to b42 im cleaning out mods atm.
Swisher2Sweet_ 19 Jun @ 3:12pm
This will be great for build 42 for the animal troughs I wish we could put burry them and it still work!
Arthritic Meow 15 Jun @ 10:31am
@Pkey You can get it from a metal barrel, you just need wood and the prompt should show to make charcoal.
Pkey 14 Jun @ 1:35pm
How to get charcoal?

Hi there, my friends and I have been using your mod on our server in build 41. While we really enjoy the mod, every time we load up the server, the water becomes tainted despite having filters. It started happening after one of our friends had poured tainted water in a tainted rain collector barrel which not only tainted the whole system, but tainted as we loaded up the server each time. Please let me know if you have any fixes for this, thanks!

@marshmallow justice

I think I've found the issue. I had a simple pipeline going from water collector on the second floor towards a small farm patch down at the ground level. No bueno. The plants didn't receive any water.

Turns out, the issue is with the pump doesn't pull water when it's not placed on ground level. Connected the pump to a sink or a collector barrel at ground level and it works. Even if the farm patch is at the floor above it.
MissFlute 25 May @ 7:34am
How do you repair the pumps?
CapitánCuervo 4 May @ 1:26pm
can this be connected to wells?
JustinDaniels 3 May @ 12:48pm
So hey, not a request on updating to Build 42, but more of a curiosity!

Have you been poking and prodding at the new liquid systems, by any chance? Might be fun to be able to get a visual of the water levels in the facilities rising up from the pumps! :steamhappy:
Arthritic Meow 28 Apr @ 8:38am
I think you guys need to chill out. This mod dev might be waiting for 42 stable before releasing anything which would be a smart move because it would be less volatile as far as updates go. not only that but as far as I know they have done a full redo of the fluid system so give this dev a break and stop hassling them
42 build pls

Update for anyone experiencing same problem:
I managed to make a working system, but pumping from the nearby natural lake (luckily within 50-70 tiles of our base). Pumping from Rain Barrels themselves just wouldn't work. Added a second pump too and that did increase flow as well. So everything works there, but just not from Rain Barrels at least for me.

It wouldn't pump TO the rain barrels right next to our house walls either, but that's probably related to said barrels not collecting rain water naturally either when placed next to the house wall (need to be one tile out).

I put a picture of my plumbing setup here maybe it can explain why it's not updating more than that very first time before stopping. Around the top right farm area, the loop used to be closed, but I removed some pipes and had them open end just now to see if it would change anything, but nope.
marshmallow justice 1 Apr @ 1:09pm
Can multiple pumps be made and attached to the same network of pipes to make the water travel faster, or is it purely 1 pump = 1 network?

I've got everything all connected as per description instructions, and the destination barrel 'snaps to' from the pipe, which means it's detected. I tried a straight line to the barrel, looked like it wasn't connected but it did transfer water (ONCE), waited about 40 in game minutes nothing was happening, so I did a curve and it did the correct snap/model change to show it linked to the barrel.

Restarted the pump system, still doesn't seem to be working. The source barrel(s?) that I initially connected the pump itself to are still 400/400 too despite apparently 'one tick' of progress happening (end-barrel 25/400 to 41/400).

Thinking maybe my loop is confusing the network? or I have to leave the chunk and come back?
Slayer  [author] 30 Mar @ 2:26pm
t will be done but not anytime soon
TEMPEST 29 Mar @ 2:46am
Is there any hope at all of this being B42 compliant or has the new liquid system totally broken this approach?
Kuchugury 26 Mar @ 4:20am
I build my first pump on floor in garage but i want to remove pump and I don't know how i can't use any tools to remove him. Can you help me how to remove pump on the ground?
Lone Wolf 23 Mar @ 3:37pm
I meant charcoal, not filter.
Lone Wolf 23 Mar @ 3:35pm
@Capitão Leleu : Same issue. I even made sure the filter was installed before turning on the pump.
scrson 17 Mar @ 12:58pm
*update* After installing 4 water pumps in perpendicular around the well, the water fills up nicely, though I'm not sure if that or by closing & opening the game solve it.
