Glad I was able to help in getting these updated to DX11. :)
Mojo 12. dec. 2015 kl. 17:07
I could get these updated for you in 5 mins tops :)

WHAT I SEE?! I'M SO HAPPY THAT THIS MOD WILL GET BACK INTO USE! :DD
Icen  [ophavsmand] 30. nov. 2015 kl. 1:19
That would actually help me a ton, if you were to fix the textures for me. I could add you as a contributor then. So you wouldn't be having to remake it all, how would you like to get the files from me?
Rhedd 29. nov. 2015 kl. 18:43
If you could get it working, it would save me from having to remake these from scratch, which I was starting to think about doing. :P
Rhedd 29. nov. 2015 kl. 18:42
Your texture definitions in the block's XML are going to be different, as well, because DX11 textures have different names.
It might very well work, however, if you copy the new ramp textures into your mod, and then just copy/paste the appropriate texture section into your XML from the vanilla ramp.
Give it a try. It might be that easy! ^_^

I took a peek at conversion to DX11 and ran into some problems. I used the XML updater, sure, but the textures won't update properly to the new textures. I read that the converter had some hickup, but as I had used the original ramp textures for both of these ramp pieces, I thought it would work if I copied the new files in. That was not the case, it didn't work.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Couldn't find any working solution to this. Will look more into this later in december.

Please DX11!!!

dx11 please

This mod is still VERY useful. The vanilla half-ramps are armor. These are half of the ramp piece, so if you want them to match visually (I do) then you still have to use these.

I do wish for some half vanilla stairs, though. That's be nice.
Soulkeeper 5. aug. 2015 kl. 14:37
i need half ramps al the time
Pharap 31. juli 2015 kl. 5:08
@Icen
He means because of the slanted armour blocks that are a very similar shape.
Technically they look different but function the same.
Now I think about it, it's odd having half ramps and no half stairs.
Icen  [ophavsmand] 30. juli 2015 kl. 8:50
@shamx, I have to disagree on the outdated part, since I can't see any half ramps in the objects menu within the game without mods.
Pharap 29. juli 2015 kl. 20:42
Can't think of a use for them but it's nice to know they exist.
Shamux 27. juli 2015 kl. 11:11
its outdated with the update of armor ramps
737✈Garrus 29. apr. 2015 kl. 11:59
@Ice en Gaard:

Thank you! :D
Icen  [ophavsmand] 28. apr. 2015 kl. 0:59
Sorry, this mod might not be useful anymore, but I'll leave it here nonetheless. I haven't really had the time to make it better since last update of this mod, but I hope I'll get more time for that during summer.
darksunrise957 27. apr. 2015 kl. 23:34
Rather deprecated now, though...
737✈Garrus 21. mar. 2015 kl. 0:35
Can't you make them available for small ship?
It'd be Very apprechiated! :)

/Garrus
Icen  [ophavsmand] 18. mar. 2015 kl. 14:37
These are big blocks.
737✈Garrus 18. mar. 2015 kl. 11:17
Are these ramp-halves made for small ship?
Stuffe 18. dec. 2014 kl. 8:11
Would be awesome if you could add corner/inverted corner version for both ramp types. It would - at least for me - greatly increase it's decorative usefulness.
Don't know if this has been requested before. If so, disregard this comment.
Otherwise, keep up the excellent work!
Aukwin 26. okt. 2014 kl. 4:33
Small Ship???
Icen  [ophavsmand] 8. okt. 2014 kl. 22:34
It sure would. And yes, that is the problem. I think will probably have to do a custom texture somehow. Not sure really, since the program I used for making the models bugged out and I haven't had enough spare time to fix it and make the models. School sure does take a lot of time some times..

Sorry for the delay! :c
WTFindeed 8. okt. 2014 kl. 16:38
This must be a tough project to complete, which sux since armored ramps would be extremely useful in alot of builds. Is getting the armor texture on the ramps to blend with normal light/heavy armor blocks the problem?
Skye 30. sep. 2014 kl. 9:07
Something I've done using the half ramps, for fun.

Seraphim Goth 30. sep. 2014 kl. 7:25
How about make a ramp that blends in with light/heavy armor? For pure visuals purpose.
CodedCrow 17. sep. 2014 kl. 5:27
ill download it but i wont use it because for me it has no true purpose, if u could create a half block as well, wich would be nice, then these ramps would have greater purpose
Tora 14. sep. 2014 kl. 17:23
what about a 3 or 4 block length ramp? The purpose to this would be in situations where you need a less extreme incline. Just an idea if you wanted to give that a go when you have some time/interest. This definitely has some possibilities.
Computer Cat 14. sep. 2014 kl. 12:31
@Ice en Gaard , Ok then this version will be fine I guess!
Icen  [ophavsmand] 14. sep. 2014 kl. 11:22
@plane crashers , I tried getting that border line on the half block, but it only went as if it were a regular cube. I believe it's because of the block topology for "cube" cathegory, which, I think, can't be changed by any other but the game creators.
Computer Cat 14. sep. 2014 kl. 11:15
@Ice en Gaard , looks good, it would be cool if we could have the line that regular blocks have
Icen  [ophavsmand] 14. sep. 2014 kl. 10:22
I'd like peoples honest opinion.
Would you like the half block to have connecting textures and thus resulting cubes (light and heavy armored blocks at least) to lose the texture on the side that connects to the half block
OR
would you like the half block to have a texture that won't have a connecting texture, but it will work well with armored blocks.

I have the first alternative ready, but want to know if you want the latter one, which is pretty understandable to want.
Here's a screenshot of the looks of it ATM : http://i.imgur.com/OaG1PVJ.jpg
The wall is light armor cubes with a block sized whole at the second most to the right of the wall.
Computer Cat 14. sep. 2014 kl. 6:25
@Ice en gaard , thank you!
C3ntron 14. sep. 2014 kl. 0:33
Looks good and usefull, though it would make only sense to have a 'half ramp' if you have half blocks. otherwise: to where does your half ramp go? ;-)
Icen  [ophavsmand] 13. sep. 2014 kl. 23:21
@plane crashers , I use the little time I have for modding, and that time is going for the half block I'm making ATM. After the half block, I'll be making the stairs and add it here in this mod, since it's kind of like a ramp, just has the looks of stairs on it.
The stairs are very likely going to be added within a week from when the half block is released.
Hexenhammer 13. sep. 2014 kl. 17:34
Has anyone made armor in the form of ramps?
Computer Cat 13. sep. 2014 kl. 14:41
@Ice en Gaard , why are you not doing it? is it too complex? do you lack of time? Or do you hate modding? Or something else?
Icen  [ophavsmand] 13. sep. 2014 kl. 12:17
@plane crashers , I was actually planning to make the stairs too, at some point.
Jenmare 13. sep. 2014 kl. 10:59
I needed it before. +1 for the mod, but I am not going to use it just because it is a mod. Great work, though.
Computer Cat 13. sep. 2014 kl. 10:57
half stairs?
Nicolas267s 12. sep. 2014 kl. 4:29
Very useful, thank you!
FragMuffin 12. sep. 2014 kl. 1:38
sing it with me:
"spaceman on a half-ramp.
SPACEMAN POWER!"
Rita Estrazda 11. sep. 2014 kl. 20:44
armor would be nice
Lazy Invincible General 11. sep. 2014 kl. 15:07
Well, It would help me not have to make my ships laughibaly wide, just to make it look OK-ish
Lost Latios 11. sep. 2014 kl. 11:29
Umm...excuse me for being a bit non creative for a moment but what does this help?
ハイロポン 11. sep. 2014 kl. 11:23

LeonserGT 11. sep. 2014 kl. 9:51
Wow, finally found smth like this! Will wait for 1x2 sloped corner ramp/armor ;)
Tampa Powers 11. sep. 2014 kl. 7:16
Could you include these in double the length, meaning reduced incline?
Quegga 11. sep. 2014 kl. 5:54
good job ;)
