I am too almost done with a rather big update for my mod.
The new focuses will go trough a few balances and cosmetic relocations as time goes by. Same goes for the IMRO decisions. Currently the AI won't really take this path and it does not take in account if Macedonia is owned by someone except Yugoslavia and Macedonia. If I ever improve my modding capabilities I would make a better IMRO system but it's better than nothing for the time being.
As for the IMRO nationals spirit, it is kind of bad, and in vanilla I just remove it cause otherwise it will never go away and it angers the UK too much. Plus that constant 10% negative stability is not good.
This is why I suggested to be an extension of the IMRO ns, to make it actually worth while to keep.
As for if it os historical or not, it does not matter. But it is not good writing when you change the core valued of a charracter. I mean I can technically make Boris III a communist leader cause he was often called "the star of the people". It would completely undermine his character cause he was anti-communits... but it would be funny.
I updated my mod a few days ago if you want to check how I made a path just for Boris III related to his neutrality policy while also allowing you to join a faction in the future.
I didn't merge the modifiers with the IMRO because people can deal with the IMRO much earlier and it already removes the idea (if you condemn them) before you reach the tweaked focuses. It's a tweak and not a full focus rework like your mod. Also, you can condemn the IMRO and remove the idea. Of course I could just bring back the IMRO idea but it would be weird and a mere organisation does't represent a whole national trend, mindset and an international/regional question.
I plan to make a mutually exclusive focus with this one which would be more historical because in the current state the mod kind of forces you to progress toward Fate of The Balkans and another one which closes this path of the tree just like the base game.
Otherwise, thank you, and I must say that I admire your work.
The Macedonian national spirit could have just been extension of the IMRO national spirit if you support them. Attack bonus against Yugoslavia for example.
Otherwise good. Many people wanted me to make Boris's path lead to Fate of the Balkans, so it is a popular addition.
