@Framistan yeah, that's just part of a problem of how you define MIOs. Most of the Soviet MIOs are OKBs (Experimental Design Bureaus) which were responsible for, well, designing the equipment and not its production, whereas for example in the US MIOs are companies, which have their own design bureaus and production facilities

@thechtoto Thanks for the reply! It looks a bit odd with a Dutch name for a Soviet MIO. They designed the ships, but didn't build them. According to this wikipedia article [en.wikipedia.org], Baltic Shipyard built them, so they could be a better MIO for the longer game.

@Framistan IvS designed the Srednyaya-class submarines for the USSR, so that's correct. Rubin is focused on general raiders (including submarines) rather than just surface ones

The Soviet Union has a submarine MIO named "NV Ingenieurskantoor voor Scheepsbouw", which seems odd. Also, Rubin seems to be focused on submarines, not surface raiders, so maybe they should be the submarine MIO. I don't know which company would be for surface raiders in that case.

Okay thanks, just tested out and the game runs fine, at most you just have names with ''_'' at times but that's not really important since the main thing is that the game runs.

Hi again! Just to clarify my last comment: Paradox adjusted the upgrades and traits for the carrier/naval plane mio so that they give naval attack and are useful to carrier & naval bombers. Currently, when playing with this mod, said fixes aren't implemented. I was wondering if this could be updated?

it's a crying shame this isn't ironman compatible or more specifically the game isn't set up for mods like this to be compatible with ironman.

the game is woefully lacking in MIO's. this mod adds so much content that should have been initially included. I'm so glad there are modders who put in work for these kinds of details. But it's so criminal that achievements get turned off when modders essentially fix lacking parts of the game.

I had copied the hoesch facilities trait over to Krupp, but I accidentally put it behind one of the existing traits so it wasn't visible. Fixed now

@thechtoto oh thats fair, but all german mios have say the henschel facilities trait, i think krupp shouldnt miss out on this. you can nerf or remove some traits, but current krupp seems kinda weak

@iminsideyourhome I think that's intentional, I remember switching some MIO roles here and there compared to vanilla for them to make more sense with what these companies did historically. You're right though that I should maybe give some special traits to Krupp

yo man ive noticed that the german infantry tank mio vanilla has (which is henschel i believe) is changed to fast tanks designer, and the mio your mod has (krupp) is a bit weaker compared to the vanilla infantry tank mio because some special traits are removed

@thechtoto when i start a game it simply doesn't appear on the MIO list, and can't assign artillery, anti tank or anti air guns to it!, though it could be some kind of incompatibility with another mod..

@guristas crazy feedback, thanks. The problem with some of these is that MIOs generally have to fit a certain archetype (CAS designer, light aircraft designer etc.) so sometimes it's hard to accurately reflect on this or that manufacturer's history without messing too much with these archetypes. I might change some stuff based on what you've said when I have more time

After I bought dlc It solved most cases but madeMAN Panther des. company
And I liked Krupp here, gj

Also wiki is good for panzers German lang. and for fleet English is better. planes combined both lang and for every type different.

The mod that blocked Redstone (USA rocketry) was (definitely not remembering the name correctly) "no mutually exclusive with MIOs." When I turned it off, Redstone reappeared.

@napamathguy are you sure? for me it's still there, in the air MIOs tab. maybe you're using some other mods that are messing with this one?
