where the shuttle at?

I agree these models are not aligned well, not sure how the creator ported these models to Garry's Mod back in 2008. I know many models have separate props to build with Gmod tools (e.g. Weld, Ball Socket, Axis) to put together.

Once I learned about the Advanced Ball Socket tool and how to do variable rotation with the props via the Physgun, I was able to get it when I created a dupe based on these models:

Isn't there any possible way to make one with the bay doors part of the main model? i tried welding those with tools and it just doesn't align at all and i don't have patience to make them be perfectly aligned on the shuttle
