Try clicking in the window right after hitting play. Also - to see the code, flip the card over in the workshop view and click the pencil icon. This will make a copy that you can tweak.

Ignores keyboard input on mine, can not control the paddles. Only the platformer mod works in my Contraption Maker installation :/

For example mods these are not all that great as you can not edit the mod code to see how they are made.
