Sadly had to get rid of this addon. It caused explosions effects that are spawned into a map, like for scenes and the like, to not render at all.

Seems to conflict with Modern Warfare Base? The heat distortion effects from both fire and explosions turn into transparent checkered squares.

the map fire particles (idk what they're called basically the big fire) don't seem to be replaced with the mmod fire of this mod are you able to fix this?

HL2 tripmines, HL1 explosive boxes and HL1 radioactive barrels just break, doing 0 damage, instead of exploding and I can confirm this mod is the cause.

tom, this mod only adds the particles, not the sounds.
if you want to then get the sound files and port them in yourself

Very neat effects, the only thing that happens is this weird heat effect, wich up close looks cool but going far away makes a big glass square.

I am not the original author of this work, but just a person who accidentally had a backup copy, which I almost lost. The code for displaying the explosion is extremely primitive and requires a lot of improvements. In turn, I, not having good knowledge of the code, try to improve it from time to time and add compatibility for all types of explosions in the game. The problem with script explosions remains questionable for me. I will look for information about triggers on Valve Developer, but only when I have access to a computer (technical problems). As for "MWIII Takedowns", I already roughly understood why this problem occurs. I will do the above as soon as I have the opportunity

there's a bug where the explosion appear when npcs performed throwing grenade anim this didnt happened after i disable your mod and here's video of the bug. npc im using are "Limakenori's Entropy : Zero 2 Combine SNPCs"

Furthermore, I don't know how it happened, but this addon conflicts with the MWIII Takedowns & Revive system addon, where the takedown sequence gets instantly skipped whenever I have this addon installed.

I have a problem with this addon, where any scripted explosions will not show its explosion particles and sounds. MysterAC Explosion Enhancer addon does have this problem too, but Zippy's Explosion Replacer addon doesn't. To demonstrate what I mean, you can go to a map named "down" from "City 17 is Far Away" custom campaign and activate the dynamite. Do you think you can solve this issue?

This is the first time I've encountered such a problem, but still... Unsubscribe from all addons in the workshop, then delete Gmod in Steam and then delete the root folder with the remaining files in the root folder where Gmod was installed. After the process is done, download the game again, install only MMod Particles. If the quality of the explosion textures remains the same as you describe, I can't help you

Light flickering is only created around fire sources. If the light falls unnaturally on surfaces or other objects - this is a problem of the map you are on. Unfortunately, I can't do anything about it, except add the ability to turn off light flickering
