So far so good but I've seen allied Elites run into walls and jump up again low ceilings.

Also, I would love to do some voice acting for future missions.

This is actually one of the best mods i think ive seen put together, voice acting is sub par but thats ok cuz thats really all thats bad about this, the big level people talk about is just cuz no one can sit there for a few minutes before losing intrest :/ like making it less of a large sopace would be nice sure, or even just adding more foliage/landscape/ even more structures to help "fill the gaps in". but this is actually very well built, and im def gonna have to hit some footage of this sometime with the boys! im not sure if i missed it or not, but it seems like maybe its no longer being worked on? i hope thats not the case, and if it is why? cuz like this is fucking awesome.

Don't feel pressured to play this one. It's NOT good. It's clear that a lot of time and effort and love was put into this mod, but that doesn't save it from the overall lacking experience.

Disjointed mission structure, large open empty levels, poor balancing with sentinels that do insane amounts of damage, and half-baked story beats.

This mod was incredible, I loved every mission. The killing of Rtas (shipmaster) felt right, and natural. I mean, something had to happen to get the plot going and fuel us as players. Rtas, being by our's and Arbiter's side since early H2 made him a perfect candidate for this imo.

The Arbiter arc (mission 2, I think) gave me major Sacred Icon/Quarantine Zone vibes, and Arbiter's revenge plot really slapped. That being said, I can tell the makers of this mod are big fans of Halo2's plot. The scene with the Brute Chieftain discovering the dead Prophet was strange, (and I guess niche?), but amazing nonetheless, exactly the kind of alien-but-strangely-human storytelling that made Halo 2 special. I am DYING to see how the rest of this plays out.

I wanted to like this mod. But it's just plain bad.

The first level starts out strong, but it derails extremely quickly after that. **SPOILERS** below.

Killing off Rtas right away like that was forced. It reminds me of Marty being proud of killing off Miranda & Johnson because, and I quote, "that's what trilogies do". It was done for shock value, and I'd like to see anyone tell me otherwise.

2nd level suffers especially bad from being too large. It just feels like more John/Cortana wankery even though this is initially billed as an Arbiter story. Cortana brings up her AI decay, and then it's solved off-screen?

Balance is awful. The marine banter was real bad. And Mission 3? Abandoning the guns for the infinite ammo forerunner gun just to get through easier is bad design. An Arbiter/Sangheili centric story is sorely needed at this point in time in Halo's life. To throw that away for yet another "flood hijacks the plot" point just screams rose-tinted glasses.

I also appreciate that you didn't add 20 new weapons that don't add anything to the sandbox and are clearly out of place. A lot of campaign mods seem to do that.

The first mission was excellent: well-paced, good level design with lots of cover. The second level felt like it was designed by someone else: lots of time spent just pointing towards the objective and holding w, little cover once engagements started. The third level was pretty good, but I'd prefer the flood just had normal weapons that I could loot, rather than having to rely on the infinite ammo ancient weapon that wasn't as satisfying to use as the default weapons. 8/10 Looking forward to further missions

Lo acabo de jugar y es una historia adecuada para la continuación de Halo 3. Mantiene la esencia del juego y aunque el desarrollo del guión pudo ser mejor, es bastante claro en mantener un buen concepto. La aparición de un nuevo monitor, un nuevo líder brute y el protagonismo del inquisidor hace de estos 3 capítulos totalmente disfrutables.

I see this as a definite stepping stone to something greater.

The level design feels unique, and I can tell there was an effort to make it resemble something Bungie might have created. That said, there’s still some roughness—similar to the first one. For example, while the open field is cool, the time between objectives tested my patience. In the last mission, the extended grind against the Flood and the unbalanced custom weapon also became a bit frustrating.

As for the writing, I don’t have much to critique, especially since this is an independent project. A little more refinement might have helped, but beyond that, it’s not really my place to judge—I doubt I could have done better myself.

Alright, I can definitely feel the passion in this mod, but the dialogue ranges from a little goofy to pretty bad. Voice acting is a little amateurish, but hey, it's a fan project. Checkpoints kind of really suck, some levels drag on a little (MIA), I'm excited to continue this campaign, but my first impressions were a little rough. Definitely can feel the love in this project and I'm excited to play more.

Feedback: Last level scripting breaks easily on co-op, trigger volumes are weird?

Me and my buddies were softlocked in the room, where the marine allies get corrupted, we ended up quitting and uninstalling.

Character dialogue needs some work, Lord Hood doesn't say "It would be nice to have the chief"

Cortana doesn't say friend, Weapon in infinite does. etc.

(I know this is a fan project so don't take my complaints in the wrong way, it's just stuff I recommend fixing)

Overall, this is an insane alternate Halo 4, but I still have a bit of complaints that are mainly gameplay related.

1. Very little checkpoints: There are very little checkpoints that you get here so you could be set back like 10 minutes of progress after dying.
2. Even on normal, it's still super hard: Enemy shots seem to do way to much damage, especially the logic plague infected sentinels, and the enemies also appear to tank a lot of what you hit them with.
3. There are a lot of softlock glitches that happen, one of the Hijacked mission in the first room that has nature in it, a second one in M.I.A. that happens when a checkpoint is set if you don't put Cortana in the console, and a third in the Research Station when you make it to the first big door but it can be fixed by loading the bravo rally point.

SO, on to some overarching complaints
-Player Damage was absolutely punishing, while perfectly passable in some areas, it became really, really annoying in certain areas, especially the aforementioned two ghosts and a wraith with little cover and the sentinels just zapping you like a fly
-The writing, while not bad, had some... questionable... bits in my opinion, Shadow of Intent getting overrun as fast as it did without any other escorting vessels, Master Chief being in cryo and away from the UNSC for all of 5 minutes was a little underwhelming, the way Cortana and the Chief are just openly trusting a monitor again after 343 Guilty Spark literally killed one of their friends not even two weeks ago and tried to kill them.

Other than that this was a pretty stellar mod and absolutely stunning fan project, definitely looking forward to future levels and how this story pans out!

Mission 3: Ok this Mission was definitely a mixed bag, for better or for worse, the first half honestly I'd say was pretty alright, and it did make me feel for the Marines that we got to know, however, the mission felt stale after only relying on the Ancient Weapon throughout the rest of the mission, the Sentinels were an absolute annoyance to fight, and would absolutely obliterate you, especially if there were two or more of them firing at once, often feeling slightly BS, the custom Flood Forms were fairly neat and I have no real complaints about them, the flood infested half of the facility felt like a maze similar to Cortana and the Library from the mainline games, which was slightly annoying, and then we have the Gravemind fight which... yeah... was an absolute slog and incredibly annoying for similar reasons others were saying

Played through on Heroic, and I do have to say, well done, the production quality of this mod is absolutely fantastic, here's my general opinion on the individual levels

Mission 1: overall a pretty fantastic level, had practically no real issues with this one

Mission 2: The intro was pretty cool, and I love how I'd come back to the Dawn's wreckage to scavenge while progressing through a pretty open ended mission, however, the mission definitely hit a lull after traversing the desert several times, and the one of the areas that had two ghosts, a Wraith, and a bunch of Covenant infantry was incredibly annoying to get past if you didn't have any Rocket Launchers or Fuel Rods on you, as cover was kind if scarce, wouldn't call the Mission bad by any means along with the ending parkour section being pretty neat along with meeting the Monitor

Played on Heroic. Fantastic so far, but as the commenter below me mentioned, the Sentinels are a big threat able to remove your shields easily. The vehicle section in the desert was a mix of enjoyable and annoying, it was nice to need to scrounge for ammo and vehicles and use less-than-ideal solutions to outwit the enemy, but they in turn kill you easily. The Ancient Weapon is good, but with how many that lie around, it seems like they're meant to have a limited amount of battery (like plasma pistol, rifle, etc). I also found myself missing Arbiter's Halo 2 cloak whenever I got cornered and had to hug the only wall or object I could find.

I really look forward to see how it evolves and improves from here, plus the next missions. Keep up the excellent work!

just finished. the Gravemind fight feels a little bit too hard on Normal, but only because the sentinels SHRED your shield bar. i think my only complaint, really, is the sentinels. they're just too overtuned.

other than that, this is INCREDIBLE. *this* is the halo 4 i wanted.

Amazing, simply amazing. Well done. Overall the most well detailed custom campaign I've seen yet. A few gripes for me would be that the desert open world I a little too large as I end up driving for long periods of time, the music also bugged out for me and if you don't grab a wraith you're gonna have a bad time. The flood level is neat the voice acting and personalities of the marines is awesome. The sentinels deal too much damage especially the big one. In addition with the flood being far more range focused it pretty much forces me to use the carbine and the new weapon. On Normal it feels like heroic, on easy its doable. Still overall the best campaign mod, I can't even begin to imagine the work that has gone into this.

the sentinels in the last mission are so annoying to deal with. they near instantly destroyed me and i was playing on normal. the bigger sentinels also just basically instant kill me and i cant do anything.

I would love to see more of this, I enjoyed it a lot, and I'm interested to see if the story develops further. Solid 9/10 from me. My only gripe with gameplay was the sentinals were very very quick to evaporate me, but i was on heroic and the mod was balanced for normal so fair enough.
