Hello, after I installed this module, my wires were installed in the wall or placed in a carbon dioxide space, the temperature was kept between 0 degrees and -60 degrees and there was no overload, but the wires were often damaged for unknown reasons. If this damage problem is not solved, I will not use this module for the time being. Please take a look at why this happens. Thank you for sharing this module.

To address the issues others have been talking about, I have this mod and Customize Buildings both installed and have had no issues, even after making changes to the "Power" and "Power Cable" sections of the mod options. The "Unlock" option at the top of the "No Dupe" and "Tuning" sections are unchecked.

Pholith, I would be so grateful if you would add the option to customize the capacity of the new cables and transformers. I'm a stickler for balance, so I had to disable the Giga-Watt and Mega-Watt Wires. 1000 kW for just 2x the metal of Conductive Heavi-Watt plus a bit of plastic feels too OP. I would be fine with the Giga-Watt Wire's virtually infinite capacity if it overheated at a super low temp. Would be cool (heh) if it overheated at 100 Kelvin like real superconductors. Otherwise I would want to reduce its capacity by an order of magnitude.

Same issue cables have a max. of O power > does not work.
Would it be possible to create a mod where the power limits of existing cables can be adjusted in mod options from actual 50 to 100..500 (mainly the inductive heavy power line)?

There is incompatibility between Giga-watt Wire and Customize Buildings (more capacity, less dupes).

Your mod's power cables appear with (maximum power 0)
And it's a shame because I like both mods! I hope (if possible) you can create a compatibility patch.

@Noxlumina i had same issue too, you can press escape to close window that saying that you need to update, nothing is gonna break you just gonna have older version of the mod or if you can unsubscribe the mod then delite it from local files and then subscribe again, that fixes issue too(at least for me it helped)

i had to disable this cos my game was going into a restart loop cos it kept saying this mod was updated.. restarted.. updated.. restarted.. had to force quit on taskmanager to end the looping.

I looked into the graphics and animation, and I think I can cobble together something for the two new transformers. It will be rather basic, mainly recolor and slight modification of the existing assets, I don't have enough skill to emulate the style of graphics, sadly.

For me to test the stuff, I'd need to know the exact names the mod internally uses for the transformers, like the Giga-Watt Wire is called gigawatt_wire in the \anim\assets folder. No assets folders even exist for the transformers, and I'm no real code person to delve into the dlls to find out what the information there is.

This is a great mod to find, allows the building of proper power grid with a decent spine.

However there's something odd I've noticed, the 100 kW transformer requires 3x3 area to place, but the model is the same 3x2 as the vanilla bigger transformer. Is this intended or maybe some conflict with one of the million mods I have.

The 2 MW transformer needs 4x3 area to place, and has the same 3x2 vanilla transformer model. In this case though you can build walls and other stuff around beyond 3x3 area, so the same as the 100 kW transformer. 4x3 is true only when placing the thing.

Anyone else having this issue?

Thx the Gizzler! i was not using refined copper as i have loads of refined iron in my natural habitat. Havent seen any gold or tungsten though.

Help! when i try to make insulated wire it says that i have not discovered conductors... i don't what it could be .. i have researched pretty muc hte whole tree except for the rocketry stuff. Please tell me what material i need to use these wires

Welp, insulated variant is much better, than nothing, but 0.6 TC is not quite enough for insulation . Maybe, it would be better to make both variants in the game, where insulated version needs third resource (ceramics, isoresin, insulite, etc.) and it's TC depends of the third component?

Very interesting mod. The two late-game wires, the Insulated Wire and its Mega-Watt variant, which not only require either of the late-game metals, Niobium or Thermium, but also Plastics, to distinguish them resource-wise from their Conductive cousins, are such appropriately powerful (pun not intended) wires that I may use this mod someday. However, the "100 kW Power Transformer" and "2 MW Power Transformer" I have gripes with, due to their names and designs. They, I think, should be renamed to "Huge Power Transformer" and "Giant Power Transformer" respectively. Their texture is also just a copy-paste of the Large Power Transformer. Perhaps change the Huge Power Transformer’s texture to look the same as the normal Power Transformer, as the Huge Power Transformer is 3×3, like the normal Power Transformer being 2×2, but with a bright red, like the Heavi-Watt Conductive Wire, as that’s what it would used to transfer to, or some bluish color, similar to the Insulated Wire.

lol. i have a fair few mods that add power hungry machines and i want an end game wire that can go through walls and supply a base without transformers (end game end game). honestly, i'd be ok with the big Giga wire having a config option to make it really expensive. like, 100 thermium expensive. that'd feel balanced to me (on another note, i'd like to request that the "wires through walls" option for the two heavy wires in the mod be split so i can opt for only the highest tier one can go through). perhaps the configs could be changed to allow editing of the wire's wattage and materials they can use (and the amount, as well as pass through) per wire? that'd allow me to configure it to my usage and balance preferences. assuming thats viable and something you're willing to do. i'd never demand a mod developer do anything, only ever provide a logical case for discussion and consideration.

The gigawatt wire limit isn't enough ? I don't see any usage to so much powerfull wire. I would like to avoid creating new wire, but maybe I can adapt some wire to fit the need.

i'd like to suggest another tier and material for it. "Superconducting" wires. "normal" type (i.e behind walls by default) wires that have like 10GW capacity with some caveats. first being it requires a new superconductor material that requires stuff like super coolant, niobium, isoresin to manufacture and build. the other being it has a low melting point (say, 75-100c?.. i say it reduces the "overheat temperature" but wires don't technically have them).
