By the way, there isn’t only the “shogun_matchlock” — there are also the “shogun_heavygunner” (Shimazu Heavy Gunner, 200 range), “shogun_carbine” (Tokugawa Mounted Gunners, with 100 range), and “shogun_donderbuss” (Otomo Donderbuss Cavalry, 75 range, though I’m not entirely sure). All of these was modified. If your “Otomo Ashigaru Heavy Gunner” uses the “shogun_heavygunner” weapon project, it should have a range of 200.
This is some serious modding,
For example i use jaki's faction and the otomo have ashigaru heavy gunner
But because the gun is different they are capped at 150 (which is good imo)
While the "Matchlock Ronin" added by the same mod, have 200 because they use the same gun you modded
All the other mod seem to modify the range stats on the unit and not of the gun, your way is SO MUCH better.
I have tested all of the mod that modify matchlock and your is the best by far! Doesn't make them too op or to weak they're perfects, Thanks a lot!
Yes, that’s right. When units fire at the same range, performance is affected by both the weapon’s accuracy and the unit’s accuracy. In this mod, only the weapon was modified. Since both the Portuguese Tercio and the Ashigaru Matchlock use the “shogun_matchlock,” they have the same weapon accuracy. Their unit accuracy, however, is different (65 for Portuguese Tercio and about 30 for Ashigaru Matchlock), which is why the Portuguese Tercio will hit more targets at the same distance.
Fantastic mod, i have tested dozen of them and it's the only one that work correctly by himself or with mod, it's work so good even modded unit get the 200 range, like the unit in the "units pack 1-4" or jaky's faction (only the hattori matchlock seem not to work 135 range considering they have 75 accuracy maybe that for the better ^^')
The author must have done something better than modifying every unit one by one like the other mods do, hat off.
The accuracy change with distance is a god tier modification for balancing the range buff
May i ask if a unit with better base accuracy will hit more at the same distance compared to a unit with less accuracy ? like the portugese tercio vs ashigaru matchlock ?

if u want more range of matchlock, just use this mod. If u donot want more range, just use the MKII. Its all free so u also can try all of them and make the decision then.

Donot worry, in my mod the Dunderbuss have worse accuracy then original so Im sure that it will not be so OP in game. If not, I will do sth with its accuracy.
For the Dunderbuss the range is 80 not 150 to the original 50, and please don't put more range to them. They're already amazing monsters.
