As stated previously this was part of a competition, and it is not up to HPE or Valve or me what happens to it. Until the time limit specified in the competition rules expires, it is under the sole control of Alienware.

If your comment was made more generally about the issue of workshop maps only being considered for inclusion in the in game store, that is up to HPE (and to a lesser extent Valve) and is discussed in some of the forum threads.

It's bullshit that i can't download this map.... what's the point of custom maps if you can't download them?

This was part of the Alienware Map building competition held in August. All maps entered into that competition are under the exclusive control of Alienware until next summer (2015) some time.

I had hoped that Alienware would allow all of the entries to be released as a free dlc pack or something but theres no sign of that happening as yet.
