I cannot thank you enough.
this basically fixed hoplite issues, and it feels so much better, not to mention the historic accuracy is the best i've seen.
i'm going to have to give this an Award.
are spartan hoplites actually strong for 6oo denaries? or are weaker than regular hoplites?
If you like this detail wait to see the Greeks at War project that's beein constructed.. (check TWC in hosted mod section).For the graphical fixes i am still facing some troubles but hopefully will find a way to get it going again..
Btw, if i were you, I´d change unit spacings for the hoplites, it looks so much better, i tried it out
The romans tried to go in between the sarissas but were totally massacred. Even they couldn't defeat a phalanx. I think you should just drastically increase the melee attack rate bonus that pikemen have in phalanx formation, and decrese the melee damage. They'll keep pushing back their opponents but will kill them slowly. That'll still leave their opponents the time to surround them, as on face to face they were IN VIN CI BLE
