i flicked the fire lever and the lever on the wall near the stairs to open the door BEHIND the big gate up the stairs

I noticed a lot of people wondering why you can't fit into the hole in the wall in the second floor and I just wanted to clarify that you have to use the magnet to pull the blue key to you, the magnet's in the trunk of the car and the car key is in a hidden compartment in one of the tables in the table stack near the stairs
