Just tried the Lawbringer out for the first time. Must say, really fun, obviously pretty similar to Centurion with the Free Actions, but probably even more entertaining to play.

I just feel like his damage is little overtuned. While he has the same damage base as a Crusader, LB has higher speed, crit and is more flexible combatant with all the Pushes, Pulls and reposition as a free action; as a side note, his base HP is also higher than Crusader's. Given he doesn't have the ally healing and stress healing that Crusader can bring. I'll be tweaking the files for myself and make his damage line up with either Bounty Hunter's or maybe even MAA's base damage (which are both lower) as that feels more in line.

Just my first impression after play, as I said, really cool class both visually and gameplay-wise!

Would love to see Warden, Peacemaker, and Conq get added. Make a full party.

I love this mod. Easily now one of my favorite classes in the game. Super fun to play! I love his lines, the Latin nerd in me is satisfied.

@born 2 carry,4ced 2 last hit, yea sunken crew just crashes a lot by itself, try to kill the anchor guy either before he acts or after he's no longer holding a hero

@Daddy Guzma, Drunken Recuperation is a move skill and as such won't appear in the Guild, as for not appearing in first form it may be a mod conflict as I'm not having that issue on my end

I've noticed that the Drunken Recuperation skill just... isn't present when in his first form, or in the Guild. Is there something I'm missing?

Perfection. I have tried dozens of dd character mods and this one remains my favorite. Simple enough to grasp but deep enough to keep encounters engaging. Good without being too strong, my only comment on the balancing is that he is a little too self sufficient with his self heal. I hope you keep making more character mods though since this one is just so good.

@HOMELESS I appreciate your feedback very much, I understand your disappointments with Ad mortem inimicus, but ad mortem is quite a good move. It used to not be when it had no armor piercing, it was quite literally useless when I was first making him. It's basically a move you utilize when the buffs are up to your standard or a gamble move where you get a high accuracy, decent damage, potential stun attack with armor piercing that can be used at start. The debuffs are just there to kind of deter that behavior. As for the arms, I apologize for your disliking of them but I am in love with how faithful he is to the art style darkest dungeon. Terc did an outstanding job

Overall it is a very good hero, but I find Ad mortem inimicus is not strong enough, I understand the whole point of it is to be built up over time, but most fights don't last long enough for that to matter.

Especially given the downside of the damage received debuff and the limited timeframe of the buffs for it. It's also a shame that it wastes a stun attack because of it.

Aside from that, Lawbringer is a VERSATILE hero, being able to push, pull, or heal at any given turn is invaluable given his short range and tanky health bar. With good options for defense and offense.


One other thing while I think of it, just about the art. His arms seem kind of small or slim.

@Gitturtle religion just never seemed to be a focus in For Honor and it felt like that should reflect in their stats

How are the Lawbringer and the Centurion not considered religious characters ingame ?

Great take on "big armored dude who believes in god, laws, oath and similar stuff" . There are many other similarly looking guys like him but this one has small opener which repositions him or the enemy, followed up by regular attack, which makes him unorthodox. His camping skills are nothing to scoff at and his remarks help him cement his legacy as the one who brings the law. Good job, author.

@Cerebralcloud92 these are the mods I'm using: Level 2 & 4 Quests, Level Restrictions Removal, Inventory Unlimited Stacks; a few new chars: centurion, lawbringer, dragonslayer, warrior of sunlight. And then some cosmetic mods that shouldn't affect anything, like coiled sword, estus flasks, etc.

@Nagaroth Do you have mods like Hard Earned Districts?

I tried this yesterday and somehow it "eats" trinkets when you try to equip them. Once you assign them they are gone, they don't show anywhere and they have no effect either. I have no other mods affecting trinkets, and the rest of the characters work fine.
