constant issues placing the trench unless the terrain is completely barren.
ACE added a "sunken" trench in the 3.16 update.
The problem with it is that this "sunken" trench is available only to Zeus through a module.
This addon adds an option to create such a trench with the entrenching tool. It adds this "sunken" trench into the trench selection of Gruppe Adler Trenches.
you'll need the ACE 3 mod an entrenching tool from the ACE mod,
then (by default) press " Windows key + LCTRL " to bring up ace menu and navigate to equipment >entrenching tool >build trench *.

also, the Description is a little vague, what does this mod exactly do?
does it add all the trenches from both mods consolidated into the one ACE interaction
or does it add an option for other units to be commanded to build trenches?
I thought gruppe worked as a replacer mod for the ace trenches so there was no need for a compatibility, am I mistaken?
You have to have entrenching tool and be on a diggable surface
I've been thinking about doing a full "dug trenches" mod where I would try to solve most of the limitations and problems, but right now I have little time.

Maybe you could do a script like removeallobjects in a given area. You know like iskindoff or Objects= plants trees rocks etc..
This mod servers as a compatibility layer between ace and gruppe Adler, bringing "the ace trench" into gruppe Adler trenches.
That would most probably need to be it's own add-on. I can try to work on something like that, but currently I am time limited.
As far as version without ace goes, no, that will not exist

ACE made it available only for Zeus. This add-on adds the option to players.
There's no way to use it in editor, until someone makes an add-on for it/PRs it into ACE
This is just a compat that uses ACE to create the trench, if ACE ever figures it out, I'll be sure to implement it.
