This is correct. I am currently working on a more comprehensive component mod that will not work with ship mods. There are some tradeoffs to be made.

I would keep this mod as a visual only then your can mix and mach them with ship mods, if you mod the defiant that will not work

I very much do consider it, but it is not easy to accomplish with the modding abilties at this point.

do you have a federation cannon option for the defiant?

also would you consider making the phaser/disruptor cannons as a dual shot fire. as they appear in canon.

LOOP, it would seem to be better to address this in the official Infinite discord of Nimble Giant. (Sorry, link not allowed, but I think you're able to find it on the web...)

The latest change was required due to the game version changing from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1. No major updates implemented. Unfortunately, making the mod compatible with Ironman (and also Infinite plus if you carw about that) is more complicated than I anticipated.

Might be a dumb question, but will this affect Steam Achievements from popping? I've never used mods before.

thank you for this.. very much needed.. if possible can you try and fix the disruptor cannon weapons for kdf and roms. and maybe even some kind of cannons for use on the defiant.
