I do however see them when playing as Karl Franz.
at lvl 5 the unit dissappears.
This makes the composition of any army a bigger challenge for the player, while ensuring that overall all armies on the campaign map stay closer together in terms of strength.... Which can mean much more exciting battles. Armies cannot become unstoppable "doomstacks", basically.
Adding support to your mod is mega easy. Instructions on the mod Steam page. A good amount of mods have support built in, incl. mods like Cataph's Southern Realms and many more
