@Amaterasu(アマテラス)

Yes, the AI empires also get the reduced building costs.
Amaterasu-Omikami 16 Jul, 2016 @ 7:03am
Does AI have this buff too?

If Steam doesn't download the mod after you subscribed, try to check if you've got a .civ5mod document in your MODS file. If you do, delete it, it should force Steam to re-download the mod and unpack it correctly this time. It there isn't a .civ5mod file, try to re-subscribe. You can also contact the Steam support if you have problems, or check the forums for help.

I subscribed but it didnt auto download. How do I download it after I subscribed.

Steam does not download this mod, neither the units one...

Can you make one that makes it so that improvements are built at half cost? Thanks for these mods anyway.
Purple Monkey 30 Aug, 2014 @ 3:04am
Cool

Could you maybe do a half unit-maintenance mod ?
PS: Love your mods ;-)

@ austin_l91

It is compatible with the IGE, as they are both affecting very distinct parts of the game's code. In fact, this mod is compatible with any other mod that doesn't alter buildings' Production costs.
austin_l91 28 Aug, 2014 @ 3:15pm
Is this compatible with IGE mod?

@ jrregan

I've already made a pretty stupid mod that makes all units being trained in 1 turn and makes great people trainable (it's buggy though), but I didn't make it public because I forgot I published it on Steam. Since you can train Great Engineers in one turn, you can basically build most buildings in one turn as well. I could still make a mod targeting only buildings.

I'll make the mod public for people who want to try it.
jrregan 28 Aug, 2014 @ 5:10am
How about a mod that makes everything only take one turn. Would be neat.
Zuko 28 Aug, 2014 @ 2:11am
For the lot talking about quick speed, I personally want tech to take much much longer when compared to construction and training, and the game speed modes all scale more or less the same, so if I want to really make each era count, this + marathon sounds amazing. Kudos OP

@ Nimm108

For the AI as well.
Nimm 27 Aug, 2014 @ 5:08pm
Does this half the production cost for you, or the a.i also
zeppelin1973 27 Aug, 2014 @ 1:44pm
Half cost is half fun!
Sage-Bong 27 Aug, 2014 @ 5:29am
quick speed just speeds up tech
DP182Nowaza 27 Aug, 2014 @ 5:27am
What is this? Just play quick speed.
Princess Penally 27 Aug, 2014 @ 3:42am
I guess that this can be quite a useful mod for people who play on the quickest speed of the game, but not really that good for people who play on the slowest setting deliberately.
Wonderboy 26 Aug, 2014 @ 7:10pm
How about a version that doubles the wonder's costs?
Osmium 26 Aug, 2014 @ 5:53pm
A version that leaves Wonder costs at normal would be amazing.
Sarxis 26 Aug, 2014 @ 5:40pm
Yes! Building is such drudgery in CIV. And I see there's a unit cost mod too. Eggshellant!
anarcher 25 Aug, 2014 @ 1:44pm
It's fine, I just don't like the idea of wonders being easily rushed in a few turns. They should be massive projects that take dozens of turns.
Aleara  [author] 25 Aug, 2014 @ 6:13am
@ anarcher

I've been poking around the game's XML for a while after reading this comment, and it seems the only way to achieve what you want would be to create a mod that doubles the cost of Wonders and use it at the same time as this one. However, compared to buildings, I can't say to the game "double the cost of all Wonders", so creating this mod would be very long and it would make it incompatible with modded Wonders. I can still do it, I just wanted you to be aware that it will take some time
anarcher 23 Aug, 2014 @ 9:42pm
Can you make a version that leaves wonder cost normal?
volio 23 Aug, 2014 @ 3:16pm
Works great. Even managed to use it in internet multiplayer. Thanks a lot.
