@LzardMan Could you maybe have a look? Maybe you'd want to patch / re-upload this one? <3
If you click/double-click on issues/words it gives, it usually brings you there in the DB!
I remember when I had an "oudated" table, clicking got me to the table and a right click in a sense-making area (details are lost to THC) gave me an option to "update table" or something
I got no clue what I was doing but the game opened again <2
Or are the questions of the person below me meaning they (somewhat) successfully ran this mod in 5.0.3? It's quite hard to tell, but what would really help if you just stated in a comment - or, the best: even the title of the mod, for WH3MM users! if it was "ready for 5.0.3" or not.
You are playing the game yourself these days, or aren't you?
And hey, no pressure or anything. It's cool if you have no time to game nor update, but would be great to know that as it happens ;) Thx <3
Anyways, I guess the fix file I had locally was far from perfect- BUT it made the game boot fine again and seemed to work, at least in custom battles where I checked. Yay!
Well, so in case somebody wants to have a quick fix to make this playable again at least:
You can indeed just follow RPFM's suggestions, which for me was to jump to the "possibly outdated tables" with a double click and then right-clicking on the table -> "Update table"
And to remove the invalid references 'scare_horse' & 'hide_grass' by double clicking on the error message to jump to the table and then "delete row". Saved under a new name, this will run.
What I don't know is those "updated tables" would need a bit more work manually to preserve all the attributes/values that were formerly in these tables - but like I said, following these simple steps will enable you to create your first own "temp fix" mod ;) <3
Have fun - would be great if the author could update this, better than I could ;) <3 <3 <3
They could also be custom, which would need more work than above statement.
db/agent_subtypes_tables/royal_lion_regiment_characters "outdated table"
db/unit_special_abilities_tables/royal_lion_regiment_characters "outdated table"
(But I don't know what needs to be changed for 4.2)
db/unit_attributes_to_groups_junctions_tables/royal_lion_regiment_characters
Invalid references 'scare_horse' & 'hide_grass' in column 'attribute'
Who knows how to fix that?
Looking good tho, cheers!
@omletinaomletina I don't really want to change other peoples' work, but feel free to reach out to the creator and see if they are at all interested. Looks like the creator is ChaosRobie who actually taught me how to mod lol, definitely don't want to change their work :)
