Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the More- government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so they set up a special room to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died. Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other profiles on this one site, and she will haunt someone else who doesn't. This isn't fake. apparently, if u copy and paste this to ten comments in the next ten minutes u will have the best of your life

@Eternal Happy! If you disable the upgrade for a generic weapon like the double barrel, it will now default to applying a generic upgrade, if you have generic upgrades enabled.

Just wondering would it be possible to have a option to make upgrade-able weapons into generic upgrade weapons? Example being so I could have stuff like the double barrel get the generic upgrade pool instead of being turned into the "LMAO Bang"

i didnt mean like that i meant a version that just increases the fire rate of a weapon and maybe gives it a new damage type and maybe if you feel like doing it then make a proper PAP version of a weapon.

@regunkyle That would be an insane amount of work to create and maintain. TTT, Custom Roles, and TTT2 is as much as I’m willing to maintain.

@Breezy ♠ I can add a convar to disable automatically trying to give the generic PaP shoot sound to weapons, but some upgrades change the sound of weapons specifically, which wouldn't be practical to disable.

Is the generic PaP shoot sound what you're referring to?

@Lola210 Are you using Custom Roles for TTT? If so you could try resetting any changes to the buy menu through the buy menu editor in the F1 menu. TTT2 lets you edit the buy menu as well I believe, however you reset those changes may help as well.

If not, then I'll need a collection of the mods you are using to try and re-create this.

It's not showing up in the buy menu and I've got no clue why. The tab in the F1 menu works, and most of the time the "upgradable" indicators in the buy menu are there but never the item itself.

I don't know if it's a client sided bug or something else. For all the generic upgrades, the sliders when you hit options do not appear.

Hmmm, its weird, i have had restarted my server (again) and the issue was gone.
It was downloading all files from the materials folder. Now it seems to work again

I can't replicate this myself. The last update was a simple 1-line IsValid() addition in the upgraded shark trap, I can't see how that would affect what files are being downloaded by the client.

@Bomber Weird. The only use of the resource library (which is what you use to mark files to be downloaded by clients) is in the magneto stick upgrade, which hasn't been touched in over 12 months. Which materials are being downloaded?

It looks like the recent patch forces the client to download materials (despite it already being downloaded via the workshop). Which delays entering a server by quite a bit 🤔

@qwertytoforty TTT2 renames/deletes a ton of default TTT functions and variables, so I'm not surprised the StartFires() function doesn't exist... I found what TTT2 renamed it to, should work now.

Seems the incidiary grenade on ttt2 no longer makes fire when boosted, unless another workshop item is making an issue

@Cpt.Haxray I did one more attempt at a fix, any more aggressive and weapon textures will definitely start breaking.

@Cpt.Haxray At this point I've done all I can to fix that one. I've opted to not try any harder else I will probably break override materials for all weapons. It happens rarely enough now I don't think it's that much of an issue anymore.

Bug Report:
I had Pack a Punched a Baguette during the French Randomat, then died. Next round when i spawned all of my weapons still had the PAP texture. Some other players could see me with the PAp Texture as well.

@Cpt.Haxray I've been able to replicate this with not just the PaP, but any modded passive item, you might have just found a bug with Custom Roles itself. I'm looking into this and started a thread on the CR discord

Found a bug while trying to set up PAP on server:

it seems to auto force itself into any role with a shop, even if its disabled using TTT_Roleweapons. Disabling the convars for T/D work, and i imagine manually listing every role in the addon's code would work as well, but it would be a nice QOL if it didnt overwrite TTT_Roleweapon settings.

Yeah as of tonight, the minifier seems to persist between rounds when upgraded. Did not persist between maps. Can post workshop collection if needed

@The Stig Other players in our TTT matches were what we shrunk. Unsure if it was a conflict with another mod causing it to persist, but we saw no errors. Our group will be playing TTT tonight, so will report if it happens again.

For the stun gun, since it needs an upgraded version, I’d recommend combining its effect with the flying ragdoll randomat. So you can really send people into space when you zap them.

They’re a weird special case since they’re a mix of passive and active item, basically, you have to be quick and buy the PaP while you’re drinking the bottle

How does upgrading COD Perk bottles (passive) work? They are consumed when bought therefore I'm unable to "hold" them for upgrading.
