Conversely, when making hamburgers, a single(pair) of buns makes a single hamburger, but it only uses like 10(if THAT) of the 60 hunger that a single cooked patty has, allowing you to make multiple hamburgers from a single patty(if you have the buns/bread).

When making hotdogs it seems to take -1 hunger out of a bun meaning a single one can make 10 hotdogs. This is also the same with a meat source, a sausage spawned in with the two buns, between those two items that means 20x total hotdogs of -20 hunger that can take +2 ingredients, kinda crazy! I think this is due to updates to more food items/recipes to use only portions of ingredients such as cereal used to use the whole box of cereal instead of the appropriate calories/hunger.

This has probably been brought to attention before but why exactly is the system for dispensing beer so damn hard? If i want to homebrew beer from my base i need to steal a special bar counter and a tap, then hook up a generator and get a specific bottle to fill so i can drink it. I'm not a brewer, but why exactly can't i just drink the beer from the keg or pour it into a regular bottle?

@Asaimoer: This is a known bug for the vanilla generators too, if you set it above 20, any generator goes back to 20 after save/reload. I lost a good deal of ice cream because of that bug.

I think the game is resetting all generators back to 20 range on load. (or never saving the value) I don't think this mod is the issue.

The silo generator seems to have some bugs, but I’m not sure. When you build the silo generator the first time, it follows the sandbox settings, such as Generator Tile Range and Generator Vertical Range. I set these to 100 and 15 because I want to light up my entire base zone. However, if you leave this zone and then return, the power supply range changes to the default value (a 20-tile range and a 3-vertical range). Destroying it and building a new one can resolve the issue. And In my game, it still makes toxins sometimes indoors.

I found a post office in westpoint full of parcels! As well as a few regular cardboard boxes. What was the reason that we couldn't use them for empty soda syrup boxes again?

Quick question - how do I add a CO2 tank to a soda fountain? I used "Place Item" to put the CO2 tank right next to the soda fountain, and also put a box of soda syrup in the same square as the machine. Right-clicking the machine still says "No CO2 tank connected" and there seems to be no way for me to connect the CO2 tank to the machine. Did I do something wrong?

Don't know if its intended but does the extractor hood work with two or more generators? My originally placed one works but as soon as I add a generator in a separate room (with its own extractor hood) then turn it on the fumes kick in and deals damage - this in turn makes my original generator toxic as well, even when I've turned off the second generator.

ive put them in a wide area that should have enough room, but what i cant find is how to even get the placement part. i can place each piece, but that just puts them on the ground. is the assembled thing in like the building menu or somewhere?

Usually its a matter of the character in the way or no access to the entire area, too close to a wall for instance.

Nice idea, there is an ATM mod out there already and soda machines that take cash, etc. I don't plan to retro the new code back to 41 because the code is so very different now. Each new thing would be a complete redesign just to make it compatible.

Yup, still have not figured out why. Use factory pieces and building menu in b41 to spawn a new one. The only work around I have right now. It's been too inconsistent to figure out.

You cant place the Green generators, you can barely hold a pipe wrench and one piece of the generator, and even with all 7 other pieces on the ground near you, you cant place it

Everyone else is abandoning b41 once the game updates to b42 officially, it's perfectly fair and inevitable. You'll have to keep up.

Hello, how do I turn on the display cases, vending machines and other forms of temperature-enabled containers? B41 version here.

I have a bunch of these appliances in range of the working generator, but all i get is (Currently Off) Set to Cold/Warm/Hot. No way to turn them on :/

Clicking on various options does nothing.

I am guessing by the reference to the "orange switches" you are using B42. In B42 the generator was moved to the Industrial Revolution B42 version. It just made more sense. This could be a compatibility with the new powering systems in B42. That code may have changed. The power system is a mess and I hope they overhaul it. It means we can't get things like switches, TV's, Radios, etc to work right. I used a few work arounds to fix that but a lot or the checks are java to java where we can get to the clean code in all versions of PZ. I will take a look to see if anything has changed recently.

Hi, thanks for the mod. I encountered a problem with the generator operation, I don't know where I'm making a mistake. The generator is practically not powering any devices above ground level. E.g. the light switches on level 0 light up orange, but when they are turned on, e.g. in the warehouse building (level+1) the bulbs do not light up. Another problem I encountered with selective power supply to devices on the 0 level. For example, the ice cream freezer has only one compartment powered. Is this some kind of conflict with other mods?

From what I hear b42 nuked controller support... I don't know much about it, but in 41 the work arounds that Burryaga created I always put in. They are still in on the b42 versions but something else changes in b42.

Should be okay to drop in and out, you might need to pick up things like the popcorn machines and place them back down if there is an error, but they should load automatically.

In 41 it should still work, in b42 you need the industrial revolution mod instead for the generators.
