Good question. It would depend on whether or not it's possible to detect a blood decal at the player's foot position. I can't say for sure right now if that's possible or not, but I might take a look when I have some time.

now I'm curious, this is sort of off topic but would it be possible to make a mod where the bloody footprints are able to spawn when a player or npc walks onto any blood for a short duration?
