I can take a look in the hats list and see if there's something more suitable for an officer, problem is CUP didn't really have a whole bunch of options. And I'll see if I can cut down the inventory load so they don't need bandoliers. Might have to remove some magazines or something for that though.
I could maybe do a "circa Arma 2" version too at some point, but it won't be a priority.
Individual unit randomization (uniform, vest, etc) can be turned off the same way as BI's vanilla randomization; by setting the variable BIS_enableRandomization to false for individual units, or by setting the mission variable disableRandomization to 1 to disable it globally. Editing a unit's loadout also disables randomization. If you don't like the random weapons, you can simply use the non-random classes.
