Just wanted to thank the author for this mod.

CP2077 has such a great soundtrack, and you made such good choices. Honestly, at this point, it flows into the game better than the OST. I don't think I could play without it.

@majima_ocelot Yes, it works just fine with WOTC.

It pretty much works with LWOTC as well. I think I hear pretty much every song.

There are config edits that would make it work as well (wildcard fallbacks).
Majima_Ocelot 8 Aug @ 10:09am
Does it work with WOTC yes or no? i keep seeing both answers on the comments. Im playing WOTC and not LWOTC, so does music changing work? i know it works in my Vanilla game, but i dont hear it in WOTC when i install this or any other music.

@n0guns, my apologies. I had to delete the folders from the drive, but I'll try to eventually re-upload them. My bad.

@ScriptGenius12, nope..I mainly focused on instrumental tracks only.

Thanks for all your support!
n0guns 12 Sep, 2024 @ 7:41am
@migmusic "You may listen to the tracks here" link is broken (404) do you have a track list anywhere else?
ScriptGenius12 27 Aug, 2024 @ 6:23pm
Is "I Really Want to Stay at Your House" in it?
migmusic  [author] 20 Apr, 2024 @ 3:37pm
Hey @The UltimateZapZap, of course! No problem! :) Let me know when it's done!
The UltimateZapZap 1 Apr, 2024 @ 3:04pm
Hello, i would like to convert this pack to Wwise Mms in order to make it work properly with LWOTC and also upload it here in the workshop. I've done this for 2 packs already, you can check them in my projects. Can you give me permission? We can discuss the details by DM too. Of course i would fully credit you.
Rylemeteph 29 Mar, 2024 @ 9:05am
I wish you include Valentino's combat music, otherwise genius level mod.
migmusic  [author] 5 Feb, 2024 @ 3:46pm
Although I love that song, I didn't feel it would be nice to have it in X-Com 2. Nonetheless, I have placed the one called "Never Looking Back" as an alternative to Chapter 3, and it's essentially using the same melody, but it's quite smoother.

Out of curiosity, is Test of Loyalty in this pack? If so, where? It's my favorite song in the entire OST so i'm curious if there was a place for it.
migmusic  [author] 31 Jan, 2024 @ 1:16pm
In this case, the songs are only looping, but I know there's a way to connect different samples, as if weaving different songs together, but I honestly don't know how to do that and it would take more time to create these packs :D

It takes me some long hours to make them (the Matrix quadrology took literally two days to cut all the music together, then coding it :P), so for now I'm focusing in enjoying these packs with my casual gaming sessions as I'm also creating my own game in my spare time, so I don't think I'll create more music packs anytime soon...

But thank You so much for being here and enjoying this mod! It really brightens my day :D
migmusic  [author] 31 Jan, 2024 @ 1:16pm
I would definitively love to make more music packs! I've been thinking about the whole Terminator saga, for example...I think it would be an awesome fit :D

"Scavenger Hunt" is a phenomenal piece of ambient...
I did trim the songs into pieces, so that they could be looped...so I tried to create interesting and seamless loops with the music files, to be as immersive as possible. I've literally thrown the whole CP soundtrack inside my daw and used every bit of music I felt would fit X-Com's universe. Some sets of music work better than others, but I think I managed to create an interesting balance.
Cúchulainn 30 Jan, 2024 @ 9:24am
@migmusic , Would you ever expand some of the music selection to other Cyberpunk-esque OSTs, like The Ascent or the Ruiner? I feel like some tracks from those games would absolutely fit in here.

Also favorite music piece for me was Scavenger Hunt, but I loved how you didn't just rip directly the song itself, did you trim some of the pieces? I recognize some tracks and others I don't immediately until like a few seconds in so I'm wondering if you've done some adjusting? I just want to say I loved what you've done :>> thank you so much.

AH! So glad you tested this with Covert Infiltration mod, honestly the music that plays during the Infiltration missions are just *chefs kiss* sometimes

I was wondering why songs constantly loop rather than segue from one song to the next? Is that a limitation of the Music Modding System?
migmusic  [author] 29 Jan, 2024 @ 1:40am
@Cuchulainnhound, @Rjau, @TheBepix, thank you so much for your wonderful support!
Creating this mod was an act of love, as I love both Cyberpunk 2077 and X-Com 2, so I took care in the music selection to be sure it's as immersive as possible, given X-Com 2's context.
I love the Covert Infiltration Mod as well, and I actually did test it with that. I'm now on a Long War run, and I've noticed some issues which I'm unsure if I'll be able to fix...
migmusic  [author] 29 Jan, 2024 @ 1:40am
@Marshmallow Justice, yup! It's possible to swap music mod packs easily. So, what you need to do:
- First, use AML to Disable the Mods you wish to deactivate (the most effective way is to actually completely remove the mod, first clicking in Unsubscribe, then Delete)
- Then, go to your \Users\YourUsername\Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame folder and be sure to clear all the INI files (this will force AML to regenerate all INIs with the updated mod list when you restart)
- I personally use a mod called "Remove Missing Mods for WotC" which is wonderful because you can then create a new Save Game without the missing mods creating any issue. You can download it here: steam://url/CommunityFilePage/1127050498

And voilá! It should be a-ok!
Cúchulainn 17 Jan, 2024 @ 9:45am
I just want to say that this mod is fucking phenomenal. I love paying attention to how music/sounds make me feel things, and this music pack and how you've made the RIGHT and APPROPRIATE songs play (and not just hamfisted-ly put every song in) is a underrated GEM. Thank you SO much for essentially helping breathe life into this game for me, as I play this with Covert Infiltration mod, I will literally never touch a mod again. On occasion I would appreciate it if the original Xcom music would come up, but that's a small ass complaint, I love this mod so much. Giving this mod a fuckin award, bang up job @migmusic
marshmallow justice 30 Nov, 2023 @ 3:18am
curious is it possible to swap these music mod packs as easy as disabling one and enabling another? I've been using the fire emblem once since.. years.. and never really changed, fits well. But I've been a bit worried to swap to another simply because of xcom ini code stuff.. it should be as easy as disabling one and enabling another, no? But maybe not...
TheBBC 20 Oct, 2023 @ 7:50pm
I would like to say, this may be my favorite XCOM 2 mod ever. I would always say it would be awesome if someone made a mod like this. Thank you for making this!
TheBepix 2 Oct, 2023 @ 8:55pm
you are legend man. thank you!
unpersn4 27 Sep, 2023 @ 7:00am
ah ok didn't know that
migmusic  [author] 27 Sep, 2023 @ 12:59am
Hey guys! Sadly, if I made a video and posted it anywhere, it would be taken down due to the copyrighted music, but you can actually hear all the tracks added in the music pack here:

SoulWisher 26 Sep, 2023 @ 7:18pm
I would use this but it would depend on what music is in it. I like some of the music in Cyberpunk but not enough of it to just download this mod.
unpersn4 23 Sep, 2023 @ 4:43pm
could you make a demo video showing some of the tracks playing in game?
migmusic  [author] 20 Sep, 2023 @ 10:57am
Hey @marshmallowjustice! As @Nekavandre mentioned, the show uses the original score from the game, so what I believe to be essential to Cyberpunk's original soundtrack is condensed in this music pack.

I did think about including some songs from Samurai and even some tunes from the radios, but for some reason, it kinda bugs me to have music with lyrics while managing my troops and while operating the every day-to-day operations.

Nonetheless, there could be exceptions...I'll consider adding some songs in the future.

What I do know for certain is that I am going to include songs from "Phantom Liberty" in the near future as well, so that can be expected soon.
Nekavandre 19 Sep, 2023 @ 11:59pm
@marshmallow justice Edgerunners OST is just the music from the main game. I'm not even joking, you can even Google this or look up the OST yourself. The creators just used the already available in game music expertly.
marshmallow justice 19 Sep, 2023 @ 8:06pm
Is there any Edgerunners soundtrack in this also? I feel like the Cyberpunk Radio/Edgerunners OST would be great to have as like a "radio" theme playing when in avenger/geoscape, then the actual music scores when in battle.
