CP2077 has such a great soundtrack, and you made such good choices. Honestly, at this point, it flows into the game better than the OST. I don't think I could play without it.
It pretty much works with LWOTC as well. I think I hear pretty much every song.
There are config edits that would make it work as well (wildcard fallbacks).
@ScriptGenius12, nope..I mainly focused on instrumental tracks only.
Thanks for all your support!
It takes me some long hours to make them (the Matrix quadrology took literally two days to cut all the music together, then coding it :P), so for now I'm focusing in enjoying these packs with my casual gaming sessions as I'm also creating my own game in my spare time, so I don't think I'll create more music packs anytime soon...
But thank You so much for being here and enjoying this mod! It really brightens my day :D
"Scavenger Hunt" is a phenomenal piece of ambient...
I did trim the songs into pieces, so that they could be looped...so I tried to create interesting and seamless loops with the music files, to be as immersive as possible. I've literally thrown the whole CP soundtrack inside my daw and used every bit of music I felt would fit X-Com's universe. Some sets of music work better than others, but I think I managed to create an interesting balance.
Also favorite music piece for me was Scavenger Hunt, but I loved how you didn't just rip directly the song itself, did you trim some of the pieces? I recognize some tracks and others I don't immediately until like a few seconds in so I'm wondering if you've done some adjusting? I just want to say I loved what you've done :>> thank you so much.
AH! So glad you tested this with Covert Infiltration mod, honestly the music that plays during the Infiltration missions are just *chefs kiss* sometimes
I was wondering why songs constantly loop rather than segue from one song to the next? Is that a limitation of the Music Modding System?
Creating this mod was an act of love, as I love both Cyberpunk 2077 and X-Com 2, so I took care in the music selection to be sure it's as immersive as possible, given X-Com 2's context.
I love the Covert Infiltration Mod as well, and I actually did test it with that. I'm now on a Long War run, and I've noticed some issues which I'm unsure if I'll be able to fix...
- First, use AML to Disable the Mods you wish to deactivate (the most effective way is to actually completely remove the mod, first clicking in Unsubscribe, then Delete)
- Then, go to your \Users\YourUsername\Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame folder and be sure to clear all the INI files (this will force AML to regenerate all INIs with the updated mod list when you restart)
- I personally use a mod called "Remove Missing Mods for WotC" which is wonderful because you can then create a new Save Game without the missing mods creating any issue. You can download it here: steam://url/CommunityFilePage/1127050498
And voilá! It should be a-ok!

I did think about including some songs from Samurai and even some tunes from the radios, but for some reason, it kinda bugs me to have music with lyrics while managing my troops and while operating the every day-to-day operations.
Nonetheless, there could be exceptions...I'll consider adding some songs in the future.
What I do know for certain is that I am going to include songs from "Phantom Liberty" in the near future as well, so that can be expected soon.
