Also, yeah, tetris mod compat mods mess with that, a lot then, hopefully it doesn't mess too much with ppl's taste
I've been kind of going off just what the tool tip bonus told me was better, and only yesterday was scratching my head about why this light ballistic vest was better than another (in terms of total protection across all body areas on average) despite the other saying it had more +resistances on mouseover comparison.
As far as Tetris goes, if those backpack changes are of your decision from this mod, then it seems to work fine. (Example Radio and Camp-fire backpack from earlier). Just the square box inventory size itself is perhaps misleading (ie. Big box size, but actual small capacity. Perhaps box size intended to be small but Tetris makes it larger).
And the backpacks are kinda weird to explain, but if it's more of an object that you carry, like a radio, I ended up making it like that one I told you about, but if it's the one with a camping pack, it'll be more of a small bag.
Also, I have 0 clue how this mod interacts with Tetris mods and addons, from what I know, it all depends on the load order, but I don't use the tetris mod at all so I've 0 clue.
Ah I I see, I did notice the actual protection values given were different in some cases (mainly when comparing ballistic vests) compared to the actual mouseover tooltip. I guess just ignore the mouseover tooltip and manually check protection values between clothing?
Oh you did adjust backpacks, I see. That backpack in particular visually looks really big as an object, and the square box of inventory is quite large when worn so I guess that's why the player on my server was confused about it. I thought that maybe these were newer Brita's items that hadn't been adjusted (or were maybe weren't supported with Inventory Tetris). I know there are some that are kind of weird, like there's a camping kit backpack of some sort, when placed it displays a campfire and stuff, but doesn't actually seem useable and is otherwise just a small bag.
Oh I did mess with the values of backpacks, all backpacks used to have like 28 max capacity and 87~90% E.R. What I did was making then more related to the space they visually have, AN/PRC-77 does have 92 ER but has a higher base weight value and low capacity since it's a small "backpack"
Also 100% unrelated to this mod I believe, but maybe you might know why; for some reason some of the Brita's backpack have really bizarre weight limits that I'm not sure if it's like.. something broken somewhere, or they just made them like that. One example being AN/PRC-77 Radio Man Pack with 92 encumberance reduction and good slot size, but only 4 total capacity lol
But it will correct shorts and similar exposing clothing having same values as full pants of similar "tier/material". I guess it's a nerf to fashionscape and style xD but realistic.
I think there is another old mod that does similar thing.. But I will try this out and swap to it instead I think since that one doesn't seem to work as broadly or accurately.
Brita's Armor has an issue regarding the balancing the stats of insulation, protection and such. All the options regarding being able to change the look of certain clothes are purely for the looks, meaning they won't make a difference for the stats.
For example, if you use a jacket, it'll have an option to open that jacket, which is a base game feature, so no worries about compatibility; that same open jacket will have the same insulation, same protection and same resistances, which, in a more realistic scenario, isn't accurate, since if you open your jacket it's to have less insulation.
Now, a more extreme examples are shorts, they use the same stats of all pants, meaning that, a short that visually only covers your upper tighs, will apply it's stats to the entire legs. All of that is fixed in this mod.
Hope that explains a bit more, I'm sleep deprived
"All clothing will make sense! If you open your jacket, it will reduce the insulation, if you add a hoodie, it will add weight, protect and insulate more, if you wear a jacket and you roll up your sleeves, it won't cover that zone anymore, shorts just cover groin, and so much more!!!"
Does it mean britas or this mod introduces opening and rolling up clothing features? Will it conflict with Spongie's clothing stuff that does this also and allows me to 'wear open' jackets and whatnot? Thank you
I'm not currently dead, but I was more inactive, I can't update the mod until Brita's get updated, and even if I won't play the game, I will try and update the mod for the people
@LordBeanie Bro, there is tons of items, at that point just check the LUA file
