you need to enable the mod in-game and for that you need a new save :/

Am I the only one who doesn't have a mod working? It looks very cool, but when you "subscribe" to steam, no settings appear in the game, and the HUD does not change... It's a pity(:0face:

As an Ultrawide user, I needed this SO BAD. Thank you!

haha enjoy! I didn't know where to put it, so I accepted that the portrait in the player menu would be enough

I am considering using this mod, not because I have any particular problem with the default HUD or have strong feelings about yours, but because I hate how the character portraits in this game looks. I kinda thought someone might've made mods for alternate portraits by now, but considering there isn't one, better to have a HUD that hides the mandatory portrait. XD

This was updated a bit ago. I made the scaling work at all resolutions
Muffinslop  [author] 3 Jan, 2024 @ 8:58pm
I tried fixing this but I was having issues centering the UI as the resolution seems to break a lot of things. I will keep trying!

Would like to use it but the HUD overlaps and/or is not centered, depending on the resolution selected. My default is 2560x1440 but only when I had it set to 1600x900 was placed correctly.
Changing ui_scale didn't help either.

huh I'm not getting a softlock, but I believe I've fixed the stamina bars protruding. Thanks for the help!

hah you guys are actually able to play? For me it just... results in a softlock upon loading a level
Scawty 9 Oct, 2023 @ 9:10am
Looks like the mod hides the skill bar, and makes the skill icons tiny. stamina/exp bars overflow past where they should end. 1440p resolution. g_scale 4.0 (default) all other UI settings are default.
Muffinslop  [author] 30 Sep, 2023 @ 9:59pm
Ah right ui_size is a command you can set as well. I will check as to why you guys are having issues but frankly it sounds like you guys have average default settings.

Borderless/1920x1080 for me, default gscale and uiscale, and I also get the skill bar being hidden issue. The end of the stamina/exp bar also overflows.
Pruben 30 Sep, 2023 @ 8:41am
i fixed it by changing the ui size
Pruben 30 Sep, 2023 @ 8:31am
g_scale is on default

I have 2560x1440 aspect ratio: None (ive tried the others but it doesnt change anything)
Muffinslop  [author] 29 Sep, 2023 @ 11:52pm
Do you mind sharing what resolution and g_scale you use please
Pruben 29 Sep, 2023 @ 6:18pm
For me the hud is overlapping and I cant see my abilities. But i like it more than the original
Muffinslop  [author] 20 Sep, 2023 @ 9:52pm
ah yeah the game was crashing for the new difficulty display when pressing tab. Should be updated by the time you see this! Thanks for reporting the issue :wololo:
varna 20 Sep, 2023 @ 9:56am
Confirming that it does break the game after the new update, can't start a new file with it, you get stuck prior to character select staring at fog.
Scawty 20 Sep, 2023 @ 5:55am
Looks like it breaks the game after the new update at least in the persistent scenario
Piss Goblin 17 Sep, 2023 @ 1:52pm
wow this is way better then having it on the sides! thank you ^)^
Nestaderkc 14 Sep, 2023 @ 4:47am
ah yeah i realized it nearly an h later :steamfacepalm:
Muffinslop  [author] 10 Sep, 2023 @ 8:37pm
It's moved to bottom left and the gold is now bottom right
Nestaderkc 10 Sep, 2023 @ 12:05pm
