hi there, uh, so i found out that when you join void, you are still able to aquire void bionics, implants, and weapons/armor. I doubt youll fix this since this doesnt seem to have much activity anymore due to the previous comment being from almost a year ago. But i thought id bring up this issue just in case

Seems the game keeps trying to spawn pawns from the "Voidtech Empire" (these guys) but is failing constantly, causing the game to lag horribly. Not sure if it's this mod or the VOID mod itself but guess there's only one way to find out.

No worries, in that case, could you just remove the patch for RH_VOID_Boss and RH_VOID_Elite ? It looks like the original VOID mod doesn't give them weapons, so they would just continue to be unarmed and it would stop the red errors.

Don't know how to do that at the moment, haven't modded Rimworld in weeks.
Also, the way I implemented this mod was kind of janky anyway X_X
I did find out about this problem while testing, but I guess I gave up at some point and just accepted any part where medievalizing them worked

Hi, I got the same error as Narada, and it looks like it's because the RH_VOID_Boss doesn't have any weapons tags or apparel tags associated with him, while all the other pawn kinds do.

Removes those patches for the VOID boss and RH_VOID_Elite seem to fix it, but you could also add a condition where it checks to see if the VOID boss has those tags, and only adds the weapons if he does.

Otherwise, this looks like a great mod, and it'll be interesting to see if VOID can be defeated with medieval technology

@Bonible yeah there's an option in Rimedieval to allow pre industrial tech but I am not sure what exactly does it do. Thank you!

@Narada - I think so, but I don't know what Rimedieval removes or if it removes the post-medieval technology contained in VOID, such as their implants.

Is this playable with Rimedieval limitations? I don't plan on visiting their bases but I would love to see the monsters and raids (hopefully without post medieval tech). I get several errors like this:

This is perfect, I changed the XMLs of V.O.I.D. to make them use medieval weapons, but this is incredible.

If you are asking if the mod requires it, then yes the description says some void stuff is swapped out for stuff in that other mod.

If you mean if this mod should exist, still yes because void is way to strong without it in a medieval playthrough, and void is a popular and fun faction to fight.

This sounds awesome, I might actually add V.O.I.D back to my playthroughs now! The nerf mod made it a questionable possibility but this makes the idea sound so much more fun. Thank you!
