NDefines.NMilitary.WARSCORE_MAX_FROM_BATTLES = 100
This makes the max 100%. I was considering this idea too tbh, but I was worried it would mess things up balance wise too much haha. If you'd like to wait, I could probably put the mod together myself when I have the time and have it overwrite this mod
is there someway i could set it to 100% myself or is there any other mods that do that?
Now if only PDX allowed battle war score to apply to separate peace deals, shame we're still stuck with sieging down entire nations to get allies of the war target out (I understand this is out of our control & out of scope for the mod).
I hate getting +0.1 army tradition even if 60k died in the battle
It's even more painful for navies.
The warscore loss and gain ?? Or just reduce it from 300% to 250% or 225% I think 300% is too high.
@kpssitsch @Teve
Unfortunately I don't think it is compatible with savegames since it activates the modifier on new game startup or when countries are released
Yes you'd have some sieges of major, strategic forts and a few pitched battles which which were related to those sieges - like an attempt to break one or move to start on but when peace was declared neither side was destroyed utterly and certainly not occupied in their entirety. How they fared in the pitched battles mattered a lot even if actual occupation of territory often depended upon a key fortress or city being taken.
Whatever your opinions on "realism", my experience with this mod is that it hits a sweet spot between the your actual game enjoyment and balance.
What goes around can come around, too :D
also i was wondering does it work with naval battles as well?
great mod btw i love it!
i really like the idea btw focus on battles and not on boring sieging everything
