strange the monster aren't showing up on the ROR panel for me when playing as norsca or Rakarth despite a popup saying those are unlocked. Are there any other requirements beside level to unlock them?

@Krakenous There are no weaker unit versions so it's the boss unit variants. What you're thinking of is Imrik's mechanic.

Remind me...does this mod give you the more powerful "boss" unit variants that have their more powerful abilities or does it grant the weaker unit versions? I've been away for a while I can't remember lol.

This mod causes a CTD on startup with only this mod installed. Unsubscribed and resubbed but it still has CTD.

Thanks for the mod! Unfortunately this is now causing crashes at startup as of the latest patch, couldn't work out why but isolated it was definitely this mod.

their weapon strenght is too low. for example giant ror have only 400 weapon strenght while regular giants 700

Idneed, latest patch was quaite big and caused many mods to cause crashes until updated. Recently many minor patches cause this, but it`s ok, because some game issues get resolved. It would be nice to be able to command these migthy cretures again, especailly in the very end of the year, when new dlc comes :)

After reading the crash report, there's a table, cdir_military_generator_unit_qualities_table, that has obsolete data. Unit qualities are no longer a number, but a specific tag, that's what's causing the CTD. Hopefully that helps if you decide to update.

Gotcha. Thanks. As a side note, I can't remember if I asked you this before kinda off-topic but, would you ever be interested in improving/expanding the beast pens for Rakarth? There was a few mods in the past that did this really well but have long since been abandoned, so I'd love to see this again :).

@Krakenous The Rotbloods aren't being given any of these bosses because they can't recruit the regular versions of any of the bosses. Their roster does not include Dragon Ogres, Chaos Frost Dragons, War Mammoths or Giants so they do not get access to any of the bosses.

Thank you for the update kindly! I'll certainly look to try it now with new functionality for tribes etc :). I'll personally look to keep my implemented change in giving lenk everything just to make him special with his Master Hunter mechanic but that's just for me.

Out of interest, can you detail a little more about the issues with Rot blood? As a test I got a few working just to go "completed battle? Boom! Have the unit unlocked" pretty rudimentary lol you just have to "win" the battle and trigger the end phase. My method was jank but it worked but was probably terrible modding etiquette haha.

Anyway, it's no bother either way we have so many more choices now so it's all good fun :).

@sigmars_disciple I don't use those mods so I don't know but I can check later. What I am sure of is that the only aspect that could get broken is the Norscan RoRs, those mods might break the player controlled ability to recruit the ones available to Norsca since I added in an additional requirement of needing to complete the monster hunts in order to avoid paradoxes.

Oh, one question I had was if this should be compatible with mods that let you trigger monster hunts instantly (without visiting another region first, like "Instant Monster Hunts"). I assume yes but maybe this could end up at the bottom of the description <3

It's cool that from recent comments, it comes across quite clearly that this is absolutely playable with 4.2.3 - and already giving a glimpse of what to expect in the near future. That's how it should be, I wish more comment sections looked like this.... thanks <3

And ofc, supporting Rotblood, LCCP and I guess the new "Tribes of the North" factions would be absolutely lovely (or a portion of them, I don't know how hard such compatibility is to achieve).

I've actually already did it myself lol but not fully for Rotblood but another race. It was surprisingly easy...although, the REAL touch would be adding UI graphics to Monsters Arcanum book saying you "get xxx unit". Also yes mod still works fine, I made it so some of the LCCP Norse factions mainly LENK with his "super monster hunting" ability got all poke- I mean monsters ha.

@-Da-_-Goddess It's intentional for the monsters to be improved by technologies, skills and other bonuses. No idea what you mean "ante showing up for recruitment". I'm also seeing no indication of needing an update for 4.2, the update didn't break the mod.
