yes, i worked on this war paint for a long time and found this specific base to be the best possible. in my opinion the lack of orientation lock isnt strictly a bad thing, you can still get perfect straight textures but the random orientation isnt too bad either. it was really a best of both worlds matter trying to find the perfect base, i favored having good texture placements over the lock.

Textures fit tf2's artstyle which is good. This warpaint would really benefit from orientation lock but you can't have that without changing your base to something like bomb carrier.

i have updated the war paint to version 3.5, hopefully this will be the last version for real this time! i know that very few people are actually subscribed to this thread but i thought to make a comment anyways. this new version will show up soon when it gets verified.

thank you very much Orc Jerma for the kind words. it has been a long week and a half trying to perfect this war paint and learning how to make textures all the while.

Great job on the war paint! I wish you the best of luck on whatever warpaint you create next if you decide to do so!

trust me, the wood guide was a godsend. thank you so much because i would have died without it.

The wood came out so much better than the first, it compliments the gun so much better and the extra detail on the cobblestone bricks makes it so much more in line with TF2's art style as close as it was previously, I hope the guides I sent ya helped you as this is just a massive improvement over the other iteration.

This is my third and final version of Cobblestone Crusader, you can view all the changes and adjustments in the Change Notes. I hope you enjoy it, as it has been a long week of learning how to properly texture for TF2, and learning what works and what does not work. I will not upload any more versions past this point.

You may also view the previous versions from this comment. Version 1 can be found using this link, whereas Version 2 can be found using this link here. I have made them both unlisted, but I have decided to keep them semi-open so others can view my process and learn from my mistakes.
