Thank you ! I have pushed the update, you can now toggle shooting stars on/off via the customizations of the wallpaper.
To get the update right away follow these steps unsubscribe -> Close wallpapers engine -> allow steam to uninstall the wallpaper (30 seconds to 1 min apprx) -> subscribe again -> open wallpaper engine and apply.
