Updated. Please unsub, make sure it's deleted in mod folder, and then resub

I'm completely indifferent to the conversation - whether I have a clue or not. And whether someone is right or wrong. (I don't do modding, I just edit unit stats in mods without SFO to its standards.) My only concern is efficiency. If I see that an SFO mod after the original makes no changes to the game, that is the FACT that matters most to me. I place it above the original and it WORKS.

Thanks. But you have no idea what you're talking about. Go read these, create a bunch of mods and do you own tests, and you'll see I'm right. I've got more important stuff to do than this.

I'm not disputing the fact that you are a very cool modder. Especially on the topic of mods on SFO, you are a leader. But the facts are inexorable. I rely only on them. And I've checked them many times. That if an SFO mod is lower than the original, it doesn't work.

Do whatever you want with load orders.

I got you on the "scripts" thing. You didn't say anything.

So, don't touch the load orders :)

If legends of landmarks runs SFO as a dependancy in RPFM, then that'll technically make SFO run just prior to the mod, which might cause script breaks. But it's not to do with what you're saying.

But I think your example might be the submod is datacoring the original mod, and if the submod is datacoring a table, it will need to either have the original mod as a dependancy in RPFM, or it will need to have a high pack file load order (this is what causes the mods to be alphabetically arranged.

For example, Landmarks of Legend SFO is above the original. And there are no scripts in it. If it's lower, the SFO changes won't work. For example, an imperial dragon will have 7000 health, not 10000 as with SFO.

This submod is so named because the pack file name doesn't matter at all unless you're running scripts. The table name is higher, so it doesn't matter where you put the pack file name.

Don't touch the load orders.

The submod is so named because it sits below the original. It doesn't affect it. If you rename it, then it will also be higher, then SFO will work.

Don't touch the mod list in general for wh3
Barmaley 19 Jun, 2024 @ 10:03am
The mod is lower than the original. Should it be moved up in the list?
