Thanks for the feedback! The original idea was for this to be a halo effect, hence the bright ring, but I'll mess around to see how that looks.

Definitely a step up from the original, but I dislike the outer ring. Maybe if it were more transparent/hazy and pulsed in and outward a bit more with the rest of the lights, it could looks less solid and more like some kind of aura being given off from the lights, but right now I just don't like the way it sticks out.
