I've added a check to remove the crash, but the culprit is Void Pearl. It stops the _update_button_visibilities method from being called. Because of that the Upgrades button will still show on items.
I'll probably upload the new version tomorrow. To get a temporary fix you can disable the show_weapon_upgrades setting.

when I use this mod with the "Void Pearl" mod the "upgrades" button for weapons shows up for the passive items and it crashes the game when you hover or select it, I think it didnt use to be this way but im not sure.

I'll think about it. With WaveInfo I am generally less interested in EHP because what I am most interested in is how many hits I can take from enemies/bosses before dying.
I don't think adding this will be a lot of effort but that showing it might actively hurt people's decision making. Maybe that is not so important if it's hidden behind an option.

its mostly the EHP part that im interested in, if there was a display for health that takes armor and dodge and other things into account that would be most of the usefulness of that mod (and even more cause it doesnt take dodge and effects other than armor and hp into its EHP calculation)

maybe have a toggle to display it for items so that way youd quickly know how taking something like +HP -Armor or +Armor -Dodge items affect you

also for the former functions, I think it reduces the need to pay attention to the right side of the screen by being able to see your Regen/Armor DR% values(sometimes you can get lazy and forget that you had Ashes and all of a sudden you get 2 shot, not that i would know) but if thats not enough utility for the effort thats perfectly understandable and you've done plenty already

I was thinking about it a lot, but I still struggle to find the usefulness. Maybe you can help me there. As far as I see, apart from the first point, hp regeneration always gives you 1 hp every 11 seconds. Every (positive) Armor always acts like 6.66% bonus hp. So no matter your actual values, every point does the same. What useful information do you get from the actual values? For armor it might even seem like more points are bad.

can you add the functionality of "Improved Armor Tooltip" ? aka seeing health regen numbers and damage reduction numbers in the tooltips, that mod hasnt been updated in years but its still useful

Added an option to still show useless effects like +0 of a stat you can not gain instead of hiding them completely.

Endless Profit is bugged and will crash your game if you use another mod that modifies certain files. There is nothing I can really do on my end. Endless Profit is the problem. It also completely blocks any other mod that has to do things on wave start. I will try to add some detection for this so it hopefully does not crash anymore, but some functionality might be broken!

I did some more testing on the mouse hover and it seems to be present in the base game as well. It must be something with Godot/Brotato activating a sleeping wireless mouse, but I suspect it's a regression because I haven't noticed it before. In any case, my apologies for mistakenly thinking it was caused by the mod. I simply didn't give the unmodded game enough time to discover it also occurs there.

Did a quick test, it's Endless Profit that crashes. It wasn't updated since december, and works fine with old godot beta.

Thanks, the Piercing modification was lost in the latest rewrite and will be fixed in the next update. Which other mods are you using? I'm hoping to find what causes the incompatibilities instead of just completely removing the new features.

For crashing switch to godot 353 beta, worked for me.
The mod doesn't change Piercing Damage displayed, encountered during a run with One-Armed (dmg mods +100%, works with piercing).

Seems to be crashing the game after finishing a wave since the last game update.

Today after updating Brotato mods (was offline for a week) I crashed for the first time ever.
Conditions:
Gangster, start with revolver, difficulty 5, DLC map, finish first wave, and when level up screen is supposed to appear; crash.
I recreated it 3 times, then disabled this mod, and no longer crashed.

I love this mod! I've noticed since a recent update though that it seems to occasionally activate the mouse "hover" while in the shop. What appears to happen is that whatever the mouse is currently over gets selected, but not clicked, as if the mouse had been actively moved over that element. I play with keyboard and don't use the moues at all, so it's pretty distracting and occasionally leads to misplays because a random item will get selected just before I press spacebar to buy something.

I changed it so that it only shows when you press a button. If you do not like this, you can make it appear permanently again by changing the options. Read the descriptions for details.

If you use the mod "Mod Options", it will add a "Mods" menu to "Options" which has all the options. If you want to manually edit the options, there is a "_wl-ImprovedTooltips.json" in your save game location.

Did you have a character that was unable to gain ranged damage when the shoulder upgrade showed no description? Did you buy torture when the tooltip told you, you couldn't heal?

that would be great, also I encountered a glitch where "shoulders" upgrade wouldn't have a description in one of my runs. Another major problem was when on one of my runs after getting enough health items, new health items in my shop had an additional "you can't heal in any way" which I found very odd. I do love additional stats idea but not when it's illogical like that, thanks for taking into consideration anyhow

I actually like it better to not be permanently visible though, so I will most likely make this change.

I can also recommend the Revamped Icons mod ( https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3003721761 ) for you. It gives more descriptive icons and replaces the icons and names in the upgrade screens with the icon and name of the stat you get.
