@Yes its 9 inches, check out the mod's config settings. You can lower the volume of the flying SFX there.

I love this mod so much I collected all of em but the Super Ultra Star Cross is practically unusable because of how loud it is when they fly.

@Galacta Knight, any type of wood works for the Star Cross. I believe you need like 5 units of wood, and 3 fallen stars.
All the other pet items use the Star Cross as a base so you can take it to the Guide or Recipe Browser and you're all set.

@b1rnana everything accept the upgraded minion, multi-pet, and light pet items can be obtained in pre-Hardmode. You can start by crafting a Star Cross from wood and fallen stars. From there you can take the Star Cross to the Guide or the Recipe Browser mod to see the crafting recipes for other items.

Patch is now released. I tested killing EoC on Legendary GFB and still can't recreate the bug, too. Hopefully it's fixed now, though.

Yeah looks like I forgot some netcode-related checks with the sound effect. I'll patch that and add a toggle, hopefully that fixes things somehow.

I'll look through the code again just to be sure I didn't botch any netcode or whatever. Probably add in a toggle for those sound effects while I'm at it, just to see if it helps you.

@RandomKnuckles, someone else has reported this problem before, also in Legendary mode. I haven't mess with loot pools at all so I'm not sure why this happens. I've not been able to re-create it, either. The only code in the mod related to EoC is an easter egg sound effect, which seems like a really strange thing to break its drops...

just discovered a bug involving the mod. Whenever I am to kill The Eye of Cthulhu, it dissapears and doesn't drop any of its loot. Experienced this bug whilst playing through a Legendary Mode playthrough, and now I am softlocked. :(

@meh?, you can have all 6 pet Kirbos at once with a special item that combines their pet items. The light pet is separate, though; there can only be one at a time.

However, I guess if you found a mod that gives infinite minion slots you could summon as many Kirbo minions as you want?

@cuentaplay50t, the standard Star Cross pet item (Which summons normal Kirbo) is made from some wood (any type) and fallen stars (x3) at a work bench. All the other items utilize the Star Cross and other materials. Bringing a Star Cross to the Guide or Recipe Browser mod will help greatly with those recipes.

@smollhoog, ah, my bad. Yeah, to remove buffs just right click on the icon. Note that unequipping the pet item doesn't automatically dismiss the pet. Also, you can easily toggle pet visibility by clicking on the eye icon next to the equip slot.

@smollhoog, disable the mod..? I don't exactly understand what you're getting at here, Kirbo is just like any other pet and can be dismissed by removing the corresponding buff granted by its pet item.

@Bobthecooldude, not at the moment, though it is tied to the sound volume setting. If you find it annoying I can understand that, especially if you have multiple Kirbos. If I end up updating the mod again at some point I'll throw that in as a config setting.

@HappehToast, wait nvm, I was just using the AutoTrash mod on accident. Still no clue as to what could cause the issue for ya. I did make a tiny tweak to the system that adds the death noise so I'll upload an update with that and maybe if you re-install the mod that may help?
