The c_hands update is going to go so hard, but for now the use of the original character hands is such an awesome idea!

I bet it healed you at 100 maximum health since this first aid kit is so usable.

tbh with how long the healing anim is it should just be a full heal but one time use

if possible i would recommend also adding some view shake + bob for extra immersion points

From what I gathered people simply get an existing animation containing hands, load default GMod citizen arms and try to position bones as close to the target animation as possible (in a single frame), and them somehow bind these bones to each other, hide original hands and voila
That's how you get twisted holdtypes and atrocious fingers on the workshop these days (if rigs are THAT much different). Then you just gotta save this rigging preset somehow and apply to all the weapons
I guess that's how MW2019 animations have been transferred to GMod's c_hands?

"SWEP.UseHands = true" doesn't work with NMRIH Rigs, I still don't understand how TFA made c_hands for weapons from this game. if I write to someone, there is a 99% probability that they will not answer me

Maybe you could ask someone who worked with NMRIH rigs for a bone transfer to Garry's Mod's c_model? It would probably be essential as I'm sure rigs are somewhat different, but I really doubt that "SWEP.UseHands = true" would actually work out of the box

@Agentaeon I tried, in this first aid kit view model NOT ValveBiped bones, i tried to rename bones to ValveBiped but GMOD c_hands not bonemerged. Thanks for sound help, now im understand how this is work

thats just one of the events in the qc you have to put "WeaponMedkit" or the local pref you decide to use before something like ".Shake"

basically what you did is { event AE_CL_PLAYSOUND 1 ".Open" } this but since you didnt put "WeaponMedkit" Before the .Open so it wont work. so what you should do is
{ event AE_CL_PLAYSOUND 1 "WeaponMedkit.Open" }

Through some digging i found out why the sounds arent working. basically in the external file you had local pref = "WeaponMedkit" but in the qc file you left it blank

you can use "SWEP.UseHands = true" to get c_hands but you need the shared parts to make it work
