The Roman banners in my game are blank, but other than that I love this mod. Thanks for bringing some color and variety to the campaign.

fyi officers have invisible parts

Praeventores units have blank tops, also some banners are missing

Also some officers are missing torsos

My banners are a blank purple.

The military flags of the Romans appear to be just a white flag

Steveinthehouse: This is sort of a stylistic attempt to convey a visual differentiation between the two factions on the battlefield. I wasn't really trying to make them darker in skin color.

It's clear that a lot of work and effort went into these mods. I noticed though that the Romans have
a different skin colour than in the Grand Campaign and in vanilla The Last Roman. Is this meant to be more historically accurate? Belisarius' ancestry was apparently Thracian/Bulgarian/Roman which his vanilla look seemed closer to. Are there details I'm missing?

Hello ! Chic pleasant to the eye mod with historically enjoyable look. Inspired me to go through vanilla campaign, including “Last Roman”. Playing for the Vandal Kingdom found that do not work textures for some Vandal units unique to this campaign, namely : Vandal Horsemen, Noble Vandal Horsemen. Also the unit Vandal Raiders has some units with bare torso as in Vandal berserk, I do not know perhaps so conceived by the author, but just in case I write. Thank you for your work !

What the heck happened to the horse barding? I loved the half - barding gold/white/blue design? now only the Sassanians have it with their new reskin mod...

It seems some of the models are missing their torso. Specifically the Bucellari, both sagittarii units, scout equites, equites promoti, tagmata cavalry, Cataphractari, Bucellari guard cav, and the elite Ballistari.

Yeah the only unit cards that will change are for grand campaign Romans. I dont have a good method for changing unit cards so it's extremely time consuming. Im trying to find a better way, so if I do manage that I will update the unit cards accordingly

Hello Voodoo, very nice mod. I'm just wondering , are the unit icons supposed to be the default one or have I failed something when installing all the parts ? The icons don't look like the soldier models at all.

it's a style choice. Our best historical evidence points towards the Romans using simple red tunics with little to no decoration, I wanted this to fact to be reflected in my mod. I will look over the pants and see if there's missing models.

Unescessary with the insults. When I have RR at the top of my load order, like I encourage in the description, the sagitarii units of the Roman Expedition are like I described them. So I guess you need to check your load order.

They are the same as the armoured units, but just with red tunics. So I dont agree that they look foederati

thanks for the feedback. This is a creative stance, at least when it comes to the Romans, especially since Im going for a deeper historical feel. As far as my studies into Romano-Byzantine armies goes, their units were fairly uniform in their appearance, mainly due to the centralised production of equipments in so called fabricaes and the extensive logistics system. Circumstantial evidence tells us that Roman armies preferred simple tunics primarily colored red as their battle dresses. So that's why this update looks more regimented, as you put.

Hey Voodoo, I truly enjoy your mods, but I have a question to ask. The units look great with the latest update, but the units in the previous patch looked like art with all the different shield patterns, in a good way, while this iteration seems very regimented. Was that to save resources and reduce performance requirements or was this from a creative stance? This isn't a criticism; as someone looking to get into modding one day I want to understand what goes into the decision making for the changes. Keep up the good work my friend!

They look fine to me, send some screenshots if the problem persists. You can have Peruns light above or under Restitutor Romanum, doesn't matter

Which units are affected? Do you have all of the required mods? Keep it above every other mod

fantastic work dude ....on all your re-skins , after reading a few historical fictions on this time period recently ...this is just what i needed to shift from ancient Rome for a while.

I wonder if the Age of Charlemagne will be reskined by you, Voodoo (not now but maybe in November,December or maybe in 2024).
