why did you build it so that it can't dock at big stations

How in the hell do I turn off the incessant noise of the main gun?! Seriously, damn thing is loud and gives me a fucking headache and I don't see it do anything! And it doesn't help I can hear the damn thing every where I go! Also, how do I swap the guns between the front and the back as they appear to be linked to the same gun implacement?!?!
