Also, if you want a good showcase of the NME's cunning behavior, this map is a good example. I replayed the boss fight after my previous comment and the same thing happened. When the NME's almost dead and you're with it in the side room with all the health, missiles and the ballistikraft, it will retreat out of the room away from you and back into a far corner, waiting for you. It's in a spot where you're a completely wide-open target to its homing attacks and the other patrolling robots when you try approaching it.

I believe I played this map pack some time last year. This was a hell of an effort back in the day, featuring some really large, intricate map design. Really well done. Some of them are quite challenging, too. Among the better maps created back then. The NME fight itself is super intense, probably the most challenging NME fight for an episode. The battle area consists of 2 large rooms with structures in them that a bunch of Ballistikrafts circle around the perimeter. There is absolutely no safe space: you're either constantly on the move to evade the ballistikrafts or doing that plus dodging and trying to fight the NME. Health and weapons are scattered in the area and you have to juggle doing all of that together.
