whats with the "safe zone" not cool. players should have freedom to blow up if want. maybe remove that zone ya? till then cool build but thumbs down anyways

for me when i try to start the world it gives me a message this file "appears to be corrupted"

Right I understand that.. Lights do seem to greatly affect the map. Currently getting 24 to 31 fps right now still working on this it's a great build love the look of it. It is nice...Great work on this to all involved on this project....

Hello @SILVER I've been optimizing this map. I see that you don't understand that the buildings are empty. If you fill them with the interior as it was originally done. You would have seen the 6 frame show. Due to the fact that the core of the game is written using old technology, the game works very poorly and does not interact with all processor cores. Geometry coordinate points are processed on 1 core, mathematics and physics are processed on the other 3. I wrote to the developers about it, but they replied that it was an old game and they couldn't do anything about it. I cannot rewrite this kernel and release it as a new optimization because there are legal restrictions.

The bottom line is our performance, it is the computers of users of this game that rely on the performance of 1 core, which is responsible for graphics. And we can make a more detailed map, but I need people who own a blender and will be able to remake all the textures of the game into simpler ones (In terms of points) with a loss of quality of no more than 5%.
Therefore, at my suggestion, parts of the map were cut out, the light was turned off and my optimization mods were installed. This solved the fps problems, but not completely as I want.

I already had an attempt to create a corporate building based on a large hotel, like the Arasaka Tower. And I hit the limits in terms of physical shapes, although I was able to create a detailed interior only on four floors. (the building was created for a web series, it will be published along with it). Therefore, regarding the design of the interiors of the entire building, I am skeptical. In any case, it will be interesting to look at the result.

I am get in between 16 and 26 fps right now still working on getting this closer to 30. I have a pretty good idea what is causing it but will have to check deeper into it.

Sorry I did not include some ideas these are small ideas also to keep a check on the fps and so forth.. Not saying make every single block level have a completed section in that since as it would lag at some point hang up and or crash. I love this world build it's cool and I can tell a-lot of time was put into this. I also have installed a few mods to help with the rendering and such which did help in some areas that i can tell so far.

Thank you very much Nekron910 credits and links will be listed. As far as the detail level I was think about that as well..Just need to play around with the great build and see what I can do to keep it balanced as the other items are added in this will take some time to do. Like the boat/speed boat add the hover mod to it add some more details to it to make is usable. Next updating the corp building into sections with rooms while staying withing a certain block count as in two or three block tall inside per level depending on the block height of the building same with the hotel. Just small updates and possible editions or add-ons.

Once upon a time, everyone dreamed that "in the new GTA it will be possible to enter every house." I don't want to say that it's not worth trying to bring the detail to a similar level (especially since the game allows it). But in this case, all the technical problems of the game and problems with its optimization will come out even more, which we encountered in the process. If Comrade SILVER wants to add detailed interiors to every house so much, when specifying links to the original map, we cannot forbid him. However, in this case, it's worth thinking about what percentage of players will be able to run it at all, and which of these lucky ones will have FPS above 10.

From the entire long message, it is not entirely clear what exactly is planned to be updated. PCU is generally not something worth paying attention to when assessing whether "something else will fit on the map or not." I think it's no secret that blocks (especially DLC blocks) contain too many geometries (polygons), which are calculated on a single processor core. In addition, there are in-game limits on the number of geometries and the number of blocks (which we exceeded in the process, which is why we had to divide the map into fragments). Then optimization work was carried out, many DLC blocks were replaced or removed, the detail was reduced where the player would not stay for long (or where he would not get at all). At the same time, the average FPS for most of the authors was at the level of 15, and on the stream of the developers (with their powerful hardware), the game broke down at some point.

I did request permission on my other account to take it over and update it a while back but never heard back from any of the author's listed. So I will request permission once again here as well to update and take it over if they do not want to go on with this project. Credits and link will be posted either way.

Some have asked me and i don't know that I want to revamp this and update date at this time.. Credits and link here would be given for the org work done by the org. author's if they don't want to update it any further... I might work on it as I have had some request to but like I said I am waiting to see what the author's want to do.. My other account was SILVEREAGLE2020. So in closing here on this post it is a cool build overall and worth taking a look at don't just pass this one up.

While waiting for this to be streamed as stated by one of the author's it may not be as most streams I have seen being streamed from keen are all completed works while this is a cool build and a-lot of time and work put in to get it this far it's great dont get me wrong here this is a cool place but lacks in certain areas where it counts inside. the outside is overall a 90 at the time this was made imo.... Which by no means am I hating on this I am stating what I feel would make it better and really stand out and get more attention and feel more in depth. I have not got to all the areas yet. If I were to work on this world it would prolly take another two years with everything going on here now to start a major second update.

One hotel has a lobby section. No rooms.. Other hotel lobby I thing no rooms. It also is not at the game limits I have checked it this can got to a total of 200,000 pcus give ot take a-bit before any major issues would start. However two I have placed sided by side as two grids runs fine some lag but not like there was since I added in some ws mods to help with that and the rendering and block edging which looks better now. There are quite abit of asset props used here which is great and most buildings are incomplete inside and not as detailed as stated in the desp section of this... While the outside does look good no inside designs or completed rooms makes it feel empty.

While this world look cool.. Upon further checking it out the apartment building are empty.
Deco city props only. Removed c1 and c2 from it in my own updated version of this world since it had errors loading in. Which I did on my other account. Still props to the author's and credit were due. With that said.... The boat on the water sorta speak is no more that a prop it does nothing but blink with the lights.

I DISCOVERED THE PROBLEM. Just use the SE TOOLBOX to delete the "overvent" planet from the list of entities and the map will work (of course, the mod that was deleted and is in red must have already been removed from the list of active mods on the map).

mfgp2, looks like the problem in the gas giant. The author of the planet deleted his mods and now our map was broke to... We will see, what we can make to reanimate map.

I totally love the design of the world and also the details that make the world feel more immersive. The work that all of you had put in is astonishing.

This might be an oddly specific question, but I am just curious: Is the LCD image at the Volcano pool and the one LCD screen in the tram that says "wild" created from a image taken in Red Dead Redemption 2?

лол, я не понимаю почему люди ноют на счёт ДЛС, закупились на распродаже со скидкой 50% и всё, годнота, моды автоматически качаются если карта потребует, тут намного удобнее чем в том же майнкрафте где надо все вручную делать.

Согласен, DLC - это не круто. В отличае от бесплатных блоков (и особенно от их версий времен dx9), в них катастрофически много полигонов, против которых наша команда неоднократно выступала. Нельзя оставлять это просто так. Нужно срочно накатать к нам ещё два репорта. В первом осудить за хреновую оптимизацию dlc, а во втором пристыдить их за то, что продают игру по частям. Уже скоро логотипы в главном меню некуда будет лепить

Тут используются DLC это не круто, тк ваша команда неоднократно утверждала что использование любых блоков не относящихся к оригинальной игре - это плохо

@Nekron910 I totally agree, thats kinda my point, there is a lot of things they could do to make it better but instead the updates are just stuff from the workshop tweaked alittle. when you look at what what money they get from dlc's to the work they do, then compair it to Rust as a good example, Facepunch studiosn is constantly improving and adapting their game, making new mechanics and optimising the hell out that game. space engineers cant even run properly in windowd mode without cutting part of the screen off unless you manually change the files.

by the way, for you peoples that made this, FML you guys have talent!

Special thumb up to Daxter and Noisy Jet. You guys are on my list of the best builders on the workshop. Your designs set the standards higher every time.

I don't know if i downloaded the world and all the mods correctly but for me the world was running "buttery smooth" ( 40 - 60 fps ) on high res. I have to admit that i have a good PC which probably help.

AloneInFinland, anyway, optimization is not only multiple threads. Just look at the polygons count at dlc blocks. A few of them eqal to the whole small ship
