yes they are causing a toxic environment so it is dying and there causing a lot of problems.

so for me there are two side the realistic side and the hopeful side
realistic side early to mid 2024 the hopeful side mid to late winter
and i was like you one time being all sorry for the devs because everyone is so mean but its deserved ever looked at their sales and then look at how much it would be to hire someone called a community manager its not that hard so with all that said we are not killing the game as much as the devs are killing it

since you said you’re new to the community (8 months) you might not be as well adjusted to the update schedule but this really isn’t a big deal and you don’t have to do anything except wait
chapter 2 is only a few months away now
and if you still think the game is dying then at chapter 2s launch there’ll be another peak in players for you to look at

it would kinda just be nothing after that so what if there were like tons of things you had to do before you escape the planet

Yeah i heard exiting!

Chapter 1: we crash and have to survive in a world infested with angry robots
chapter 2: we find an abandoned mine and venture into it, possibly getting trapped. We venture around and find a way out of the caves
chapter 3: but find ourselves in the arctic circle of the planet and while trying to get back to the more habitable area we find something that would help fix the ship and we work our way down
I doubt there will be one but chapter 4: we fight through intense farmbot combat and eventually make it back to the shore of the island/peninsula where we crashed and fix the ship, blasting off to civilization.
anyway that took too long.

Local was updated 23 days ago! hopefully they're getting pretty close! school just got out and the player numbers are 1,700, which is very, very little. I think most of the people who own the game have given up on it and don't even plan to play it again unless chapter 2 is a mega update, which it seems to be given the 5.7 G B!!!

But in all honesty I hope I accidentally predicted the plot of the rest of survival mode.
And this summary is too long for comments. I'll put it in another one.

Over Time The Game went from 10,000 - 40,000 - 2000

it has been beaten pretty bad numbers probably will go up a bit but we will have lost a ton.
just think the workshop will be quite empty not tons of mods being published we will rely on oursleves! we will not have lots of modders to make custom games or make modded parts
and so that will drop more players until very little left so we have to do everything that we can to prevent that from happening numbers have decreased but soon there will be very very little left!

Around release time period we had i think 100K then it was getting lower to like 6 thousand then survival boom 40K then it has been dying until normal player count is 2900 definitley dying
and we also to encourage players who have never heard of this game to make numbers go up a bit at least we have some people to play with. but not leaving and staying strong
is the right Decision i think why give up! we have so much potential.

Also steamDB says that it is release somewhere in Summmer,Autumn chapter 2 that is.

i think there´s no reviving this game sadly it´s like trying to help someone but they´re just out of reach.

i mean it is dying and reviving itself repeatedly but it's more or so dying than living

For instance. Beautiful OB is not playing scrap mechanic because of problems! but he did do one stream. now i really think that normal.

also there are people who are waiting for the new updates yet they are playing a different game for the moment and i would Generally see that be quite normal to take a brake cause theres no more survival changing content. but i would suggest staying and helping the community keep scrap mechanic Alive!
