for me it doesnt.
RescuePenguin 26. sep. kl. 15:21
Not sure what was happening with @untrostlich, but this mod works fine with More Lifestyles. There is even a compatibility mod that adds repeatable perks to the new lifestyles. Though there is a small GUI compatibility error that can be fixed by following the pinned discussion.

Is this compatible with the POD? Seems not
Untrostlich 21. aug. kl. 1:28
This mod currently does not work with the More Lifestyles mod, causing crashes. Even with the compatibility pack installed, it still crashes. If players want to use both mods simultaneously, someone might need to create a compatibility pack for both. Of course, I hope the author can create a compatibility pack for More Lifestyles after the All Under Heaven DLC is released.

It works well as long as you place it in the playset list in the right spot. for me its right beneath larger mods (f.e. total conversions) but above smaller mods. it works fine even if when you run the game it says there is a mod conflict.

great mod btw
Primo 12. juli kl. 13:28
No need for an update, works fine.
Synthetic 5. juli kl. 2:43
Update pls
Stim The One 5. juni kl. 20:03
This needs an update because in some games it is absolutely needed.
Mogger 30. maj kl. 17:47
crashing. update needed
CommonAnts 13. maj kl. 4:29
Vanilla game defined new classes like type progressbar_lifestyle_xp in windows_character_lifestyle.gui. It would be better to synchronize.
The Desert Fox 9. maj kl. 8:38
Is this compatible with the AGOT mod perhaps?
Langfao 7. maj kl. 10:57
Never mind I figured it out reading your comment, was trying to figure it out looking at your comment and at the pinned discussion, should have just read your comment only I was getting confused at what I needed to do from the discussion.
Langfao 6. maj kl. 23:48
@buddykenner Do you have to do this just to the gui file for mods that add lifestyles or do you need to do this in the main game file gui file of the same name too?
buddykenner  [ophavsmand] 27. apr. kl. 14:15
Please check the pinned GUI Compatibility discussion. The short answer is: delete this mod's window_character_lifestyle.gui file, in the witchcraft mod's window_character_lifestyle.gui file (or any other mod that adds lifestyles) replace "Perk.IsFinisher" with "Perk.HasUnlockTrait"

"I really enjoy using your mod. However, I've encountered a bit of an issue. When using this mod together with the Witchcraft mod, I'm unable to click on the additional focus. I'm hesitant to delete this mod's GUI file because it causes perk descriptions to disappear. Could you advise me on which part of the GUI file I should modify or remove to fix this problem?"

Inconsolable Bot 17. apr. kl. 6:22
Would it be posiible to update this so it can be compatible with some other mod that makes the lifestyle window scrollable?
MrBlazzar™ 7. apr. kl. 17:03
Still hoping for a official update
Mythomaniac Gremlin 13. mar. kl. 8:24
@Atlas I think it technically functions but should not be needed, RiE has a built in system for using perk points
Atlas 13. mar. kl. 0:42
is this mod works with realms in exile?
💀Kralazar Mallus💀 2. mar. kl. 8:49

dawid69929 18. feb. kl. 3:21
@Element add some wandering perks and we will have 1.14 version here
Element 17. feb. kl. 2:32
So I got this to work with the latest update but I did this when the DLC first came out so I am not sure if things have changed since then since I stopped playing.

1. The "window_character_lifestyle.gui" is the file we need to modify here.

2. Copy the text from this pastebin: https://pastebin.com/YxwXbG0j

3. Save it into a file named window_character_lifestyle.gui

4. Navigate to this mod's file and go to the gui folder which should look something like this: "..\steamapps\workshop\content\1158310\3010722594\gui"

5. Move the file you made into here and replace the one that is already in there when it asks.

@jesusjr thank god its not just me. I came here to see if the dev has commented it on it but thank you for sharing
jesusjr 13. feb. kl. 12:07
Mod sadly no longer compatible with more life styles even when rearranging mod order. The limitless perks show up as ?
Water Monkey 7. feb. kl. 12:00
One day this will be updated again
Tragopan 30. nov. 2024 kl. 16:09
Looking forward to an update! Not being able to do anything with excess skill points is still a huge vanilla oversight.
Element 11. nov. 2024 kl. 14:00
Nope, needs an update for the wanderer tree + I think they reworked how the descriptions are displayed for perks or renamed the variables
Lera 10. nov. 2024 kl. 6:57
Does this work with the new update?
dawid69929 7. nov. 2024 kl. 9:12
Any plans to implement new lifestyle
HolyMolyOllyPolly 19. okt. 2024 kl. 21:27
Would you upload a 1.12.5 version? I'm in the middle of an EK2 campaign and would love to use this mod but it's incompatible with previous game versions.
TurboJ 13. okt. 2024 kl. 11:00
Cool. I wonder if I can add this to an existing save...?
Hektar 7. okt. 2024 kl. 19:04
Oh, this is delightful! It's a lovely compliment to the Witchcraft mod. I always wind up with too many unused points.

Thanks for this! <3
blood_guts 2. okt. 2024 kl. 0:32
this mod is super fun. It's really added a new dimension to my games
Myphicbowser 30. sep. 2024 kl. 9:44
Oh wonderful, an update! Thank you so much! This'll go perfectly with the new immortal trait...
Arcanical 26. sep. 2024 kl. 12:51
Mod doesn't seem to be working as of 1.13, which is a shame as I really, really liked this mod! An update would be awesome.
adricnobody 8. sep. 2024 kl. 15:23
does powerful plots work?
H0tD4amn 18. aug. 2024 kl. 0:22
I try to use this mod but suddenly got assassinated by rivals, :steamsad:
hamletsdead 8. aug. 2024 kl. 15:14
@buddykenner, any chance of a Princes of Darkness patch for all the lifestyles added by that mod as well? Would be eternally grateful.
hamletsdead 8. juli 2024 kl. 16:08
Any chance for the additoin of (or patch for) Sappho's Daughter? I'm constantly mistiming my points and ending up with 3 extra perks I can't use or get rid of, and the bloody popup reminder to "spend my points" (which can't be spent) is crazy making. I'd make a patch myself but I'm a moron when it comes to coding.
Kavvan Shrike 9. maj 2024 kl. 22:19
does anyone know of any mods that add functionality to cultural fascination over 100%? Feels like there's no reason to to take research obsession when you can just take elite learning and reach the fascination cap with that. I'm wondering if there's probably a mod i haven't found that makes innovation tick multiple times if through mods you get to well over 100% fascination e.g. you have 250% fascination at 0.5 progress per month you get two ticks of progress for a guaranteed 1.0 progress and 50% chance at another tick for 1.5 that month
Kavvan Shrike 14. apr. 2024 kl. 8:31
ignore what i said, domain can be increased with decimal values and i just deceived myself into thinking it was an integer value . domain_limit = 0.2 works for stacking values
Kavvan Shrike 14. apr. 2024 kl. 7:07
@buddykenner if i wanted to change a repeatable trait to add say +1 domain limit but I only wanted it once the player invested 5 stacks into it how would i go about this? additionally every 10 stacks would give +1 domain limit to the dynasty, is this kind of stack tracking even possible with stacking modifiers?
Alin 28. mar. 2024 kl. 19:15

Paradox changed county control modifier from "monthly_county_control_change_add" to "monthly_county_control_growth_add", so "Steel Grip" doesn't work, please fix
rayancoelho 4. mar. 2024 kl. 23:08
Could you please update the mod to the new patch, 1.12.1? Many thanks in advance!
Ilivdorl 4. feb. 2024 kl. 13:54
Is there a way to get NPCs to fill out their perk trees before picking Re-Perks? I'm playing an immortal game and I notice that when they fill out their tree, NPCs just stay in it and pick perks, and usually, not the ones that give base skill, but the kind that give other bonuses.

I've tried digging around in the mod files, but I don't know enough about how the language works to see if there's something that can be added to force them to fill out other trees.
T 24. jan. 2024 kl. 8:23
@vladimir the more lifestyles author posted a submod for this that adds support
