Jarngreipr will be reworked in some forseeable future, im working on Opportunity and she's taking a lot of time because i want her to be as best as she could be.
My roadmap for works are a bit messy.
It looks like this
Opportunity rework - Outpost addon - Wrecks addon - Alien Ruins. inbetween those i might start working on Jarngreipr. it needs a lot of things changed and again, dont know when I'll do it.

@T'erissk The tag thing is for autofilling, so dont worry about it.
Some vents are purely decorational.
I dont know why bots need to know which pump is ballast one.
And last thing is a lie because that submarine runs better than most subs same size on workshop.

If I may ask, what does it mean if the game in sub editor says for the normal Jarngreipr (not the HE one):

"Container tag warning: The tags given to containers do not match the recommended minimum amounts, The missing tags are:
-Reactor cabinet

The submarine contains vents that haven't been linked to an oxygen generator. Select a vent and click an oxygen generator while holding space to link them.

You should add the tag "ballast" to the ballast pumps to allow ai characters to identify which pumps are used for controlling the buoyancy of the submarine.

The submarine has a very large number of structures, which may cause performance issues,
Consider reducing the number of structures."


Is it just having a cow, because of how beautiful decorated the submarine is>? Is this a false positive?

How the heck did you make the elevator in this, i had seen it on the Polemos and have tried messing with it and tried making my own, but it keeps teleporting and not functioning, i would love to know how to make one of these, or a sub based off of the elevators

Switch for Firewall so you dont use it all - its all right in between supercapacitors
Fixed drone, now you can repair it and its now actually recharges from dockingport, has reduced speed.
Drone also can now be broken, so watch out.

It shot me because I was going into a wreck and monsters were somewhere within it's target area. If it's controlled by motion sensor could set up an and component to check for living people. Still, lovely sub

Firewall shouldnt trigger on you at all, it only triggers on monsters (alive ones) But ill try to make manual switch.
Sadly I cant do anything about elevator flying out, its just a gamble with game since it uses docking ports to move up and down...
Drone (as you called it minisub) is by far my worst work on that sub, im gonna now try to remake it.
And thoughts on brig, I've never done it and never seen use for it on submarines that are attack/scout class, maaaaaybe on some attack subs but I didnt felt like adding it here. (plus its also gameplay wise, you do transport missions early-midway through game, later on its just not as profitable and imo any type of personel transport is annoying to do)

Playing through a multiplayer game with this sub at the moment. I like the look/layout of it and appreciate the unlocked wires. We had to rewire all the doors since they are just button doors by default (I prefer the ones that autoclose but settled for autodoors since it's cheaper component-wise). Only real issues we've run into is we couldnt figure out a way to turn off the firewall without just ripping out the ammo and it killed me one time, the elevator flew out of the ship once and we had to repurchase it, and the minisub seems to be broken and we can't figure out why. My suspicion is one of it's hidden/uninteractable components like the battery broke and since it's broken we can't fix it without probably paying for repairs in station. I'll have to check next time we run.

A dedicated brig would have been nice, but we just don't do prisoner transport anymore since our pet mudraptor fights them.

And custom parts are just mod baked into submarines files so, basically, custom textures

Yes they are automatic, and towing crane is a hidden docking port, mainly its for hauling shuttles or wrecks if you have certain mods installed

Its small flak cannons connected to motion detectors on top and near bottom airlock. Loader for it is near medbay, right under gunnery

Or, you can look for a sweet spot by trial and error! I have a bad pc myself, but lights are set to 190. Safe to say at least 100 should be good, but if you wanna be safe, put it to 50-60 as I said
